Terrible compnay, our flat was managed by them but they never did anything. Emails unanswered and telephone calls ignored and no repairs carried out after a year. We had a leak which ruined a ceiling and they never attened and then we had to pay for the damage After we had put down a deposit on the flat we had to keep chasing and then they kept trying to charge us for things which they made up and we did'nt want to lose the flat so we paid. If another agent has the property go to them and if not think about it ... alot.

We don't always get it right and honest feedback is one way we can put things right and become a better business. Unfortunately, this 'review' is neither genuine or honest. We have thoroughly investigated these allegations. Hunters have never come into contact with Paula Smith (our system allows us to record all contact with clients) nor can we verify anything about the identity from the Google+ account, which appears to have just been created for the purpose of disparaging our firm. We believe this review to be completely fictitious and a malicious attempt to tarnish the good reputation of Hunters. The many positive reviews and feedback we get on a constant basis from our customers are a testament to our good standing. This 'review' has been reported to the Google Legal team, with a request to investigate the source, as we take these matters very seriously. Thank you

I Had Hunters manage my property for me and they did a terrible job. My rent was never paid to me on time and I was always chasing them. I am currently owed several months rent and I am really upset about this. I did some research into this branch and they have been taken to court by their suppliers over non payment and they had to make their Mare st branch close down because of this. Do not give then your property to rent unless you want a lot of stress

I am writing on behalf of a former tenant who experienced a terrible service from Hunters agency. Their reaction to maintenance was very slow, even when it was an emergency. It didn't help that they don't seem to pick up when you call. Generally experienced a very poor level of communication from them. They even granted themselves access to the house without seeking permission. I wouldn't want to be their tenant.

Jay showed us the flat and he is very good at selling places to you the problems occur once you move in. No one picks up the phone, no maintenance carried out by Hunters who were managing it. When they do turn up they don’t complete the jobs and they lie all the time. When we left we had to fight hard to get our deposit as they made up lies on the deposit form. The flat was a mess because they didn’t fix the issues. Don’t rent from them they are terrible

Thank you for your feedback. From looking at the files and the inventory, the property was not left in the condition you found it when you moved in. This is clearly shown on the inventory and check out report. I can also see you had an issue with your boiler which Hunters Management did replace with a brand new boiler and confirm it was working. I am sorry if you feel you didn't get a good service but from our notes, I can tell you that the issues you had were rectified.

Jay is a great salesman and tells you whatever you want to hear but once you move in nothing ever gets done. No one fixes anything and no one picks up the phone. Terrible company and bad at managing properties and they keep so much for your deposit when you leave. Don’t go to them

Absolutely amazing and helpful staff! Went over and above the call of duty on many occasions to help out. We originally put our house on the market with Hunters Huddersfield to sell and they secured a buyer within a couple of days. Unfortunately the sale did not proceed (no fault of Hunters) and they had it back on the market immediately. We then decided to rent the property and have secured lovely tenants who really look after the property. The turnaround time from putting the property for rent and securing a tenant was phenomenal! Between Katy, Nicky, Sarah and Jamie-Lee they really have a fantastic, all round service and you would be stupid not to buy or sell through them! Highly recommended

I have been with Hunters now for about 10 months. In the beginning I was assured my house would rent at a cost but it turned out not to be the case. However the service and commitment offered by Sarah Speak in the Huddersfield office has been really good. We have a tenant in now and all good

Long-term tenant at a property managed by Hunters Huddersfield branch. Only left due to buying a house. Any issues within the property were dealt with quickly and to a good finish. Staff were always friendly and courteous, with good communication with clients. Would recommend them.

I dealt with Jamie-Lee and the Hunters team back in July when I first rented my home; they have been fantastic throughout the whole process and I have just renewed by lease for a further 12 months and that has been so easy to do and effortless. Today I spoke to Lisa to pay my fee and even though she works in sales, she still took the time to help and assist me. Thank you ladies, great job! :)
