She really went above and beyond to get us through the process. She chased solicitors, other estate agents, and the seller and kept us up to date at all times, which is more than can be said of our own solicitor. I recently rented a property through Hunters in Stoke Newington and can honestly say it has been my worst experience yet with an agent. They were consistently unresponsive to my requests to view the property after I had put a holding deposit down, they failed to read the full offer document I sent resulting in them not giving my landlord a true reflection of my offer terms. I received a contract less than 24 hours prior to my move in date only to be told 17 hours before I was due to move in I could not and would need to wait until the manager was back 3 days later. I had arranged a removals van which I then had to cancel at 6pm the day before moving in only then to be told the following morning I actually could move in. The lettings side is an absolute SHAMBLES! I later spoke with my landlord and it turns out they had told me one thing and her another.. therefore lying to one of us.. and that was the manager doing that! Nicole was great until I had put the holding deposit down then she really couldn't give a ....... !! Shame for the other Hunters franchise partners because this location will be giving them a bad name.

From reading other reviews experiences with the sales team of this branch seem to be great. Unfortunately I can’t say the same from the lettings team. We got in touch on the day a letting was added to Rightmove and contacted them repeatedly to request a viewing. We were told they were waiting for the tenants to get in touch to confirm availability. One week later we were contacted for a viewing the next day. What clearly was their intention from the start was to run an open house and the member of staff we saw on the day of viewing had shown 7 people round the property in less than an hour. This is fair enough, but just be honest with people that this is the process as from that moment it was obviously going to be a waste of time. We submitted an application the next working day with no confirmation of receipt and over a week later have concluded that this won’t progress. Having followed up several times we were told the landlord was still making a decision but after 5 days it is clear that this can’t be true. In a fast moving rental market, agencies clearly have the upper hand but this agency does not compare well to others in the area in terms of communication, transparency and general customer service. I felt like I had gone back 10 years.

We have been so impressed with Fleur at Hunters. We were aware that we were buying in a very busy market and the process could have been super stressful. However Fleur’s regular contact and candid responses made the process much easier. We knew we could trust her and that she cared about all parties of the sale. Recently went through the process of renting a house through Hunters and it must have been the easiest and best experience I've had. The process was extremely speedy, streamlined and efficient.
