Appalling (borderline fraudulent) service from Hunters Stoke Newington. I have been a tenant for over 3 years, they unlawfully held our deposit for more than 7 weeks and did not answer our many calls/emails, they have also been breaching the terms of the tenancy deposit scheme by withholding more funds than specified in our contract. I would not recommend Hunters Stoke Newington branch.

Hunters managed my landscape garden project and put me in touch with Ground up Gardens who did an excellent job. They were hard-working and really knew their stuff, as well as being pleasant and friendly guys to have around. Their recommendations of what I could do in my small garden turned out to be excellent and they sourced good quality products. I now have a lot more space and light than before. They cleaned up very well after themselves as well. Will definitely have them back next time anything needs doing in my garden!!

From the very start of my enquiry to the last little details, Hunters have been transparent, honest, true to their word, communicative, approachable and personable. Any enquiry I had was answered promptly and with confidence. Sharon initially dealt with my very first enquiry and discussed every last detail - what was expected of me as a landlord being my first time in this position, and what was expected of them as agents, nothing was ever pushed on to me, no sales tactics, just the facts and then it was my choice. Following on, Lucy was my agent and nothing was ever too much to ask from her. She was friendly, professional and available. She gave me confidence in the tennants selection process and facilitated this fantastically ensuring that my choice was promoted. The whole process couldn't have gone smoother. 5 star treatment, it would be difficult to go with anyone else from here on.

Outstanding. From start to finish, Hunters provided an exceptional service. Dave Curwen was extremely knowledgeable and friendly when he conducted our valuation and he was more than happy to deal with any questions we had. Carly Taylor was superb from then on, acting as our main point of contact for our sale. She was ALWAYS responsive, throughout the process, and happily chased solicitors and buyers for us when necessary. Carly went above and beyond on many occasions, even doing so out of hours. She and the Hunters team were superb and we are very glad to have opted for them in the first place.

From start to finish the experience of selling with Hunters was painful. They had previously sold all the apartments in the block as new builds, so we went back with them to resell. Instead of creating a new ad for the flat, they simply copied the previous text from when they sold it before which included information about other flats in the bock and was really nothing to do with ours, so we had to rewrite the property description ourselves. Over the span of 36 weeks we had 4 viewings, and were never called with feedback after a viewing. We would call after the viewings to be told "we don't have feedback yet, we'll call you tomorrow". We would follow up again to be told "we still have no feedback." Not once did they call us off their own back with feedback. After already deciding to list the property with someone else, we emailed to serve notice on our contract. (An email we still have not had a response to). We went into Solihull to pick up our spare keys which they had from the viewings, to find that they were no longer located in the same building. After tracking them down on the other side of town, we got our keys. We have since found out that the branch manager listed on the website, no longer even works at Hunters and thus we didn't even have a contact towards the end. Best decision we ever made was to leave their services.
