GoogleFrom the start of our journey all the way through to the end Gascoigne Halman have been excellent. Our initial consultation was with James who offered us sound advice after taking the time to listen to us and get to know what we were looking for. We then worked with Andrea throughout the remainder of the process, and she was absolutely outstanding in her professionalism. For reasons beyond everyone's control, our process was long and complex, but Andrea was on top of things every step of the way. What we really valued most was that Andrea was always available to answer questions, regularly kept us to date, and went above and beyond on numerous occasions. We couldn't recommend James and Andrea enough for those looking to put their property on the market.

GoogleSaw a flat, with what looked like massive blood and other stains all over the carpet which had rips all over in terrible condition, asked if the carpet and other cosmetic painting and bits be done, landlord refused apparently very rude landlord so refused to sign, if landlord is this difficult at the beginning what's he going to be like when you're stuck in a contract, therfore lost my deposit 🤬

GoogleWe recently rented our home with the help of Gascoigne Halman, and the experience was exceptional. I've been a tenant for over 10 years and have dealt with various agencies, but honestly, without exaggeration, this was one of the best experiences we've had. The team was incredibly polite, friendly, and honest throughout the entire process. They documented every corner of the property in detail, and all the important checks, such as the gas safety inspection, electrical safety, EPC, etc, were completed thoroughly and on time. The tenancy agreement process was clear and comprehensive, which made everything go smoothly. We even had to request some maintenance early on, and their response was outstanding. An engineer was sent out and everything was fixed within two hours. We also absolutely love our new home, and we’re truly grateful to Gascoigne Halman for making it all happen.

Dan, as branch manager, has worked tirelessly from his first visit to us for a valuation right through to completion. His expert advice, availability and positivity really helped us though this process, especially when we lost a buyer in the early stages. Russell, our mortgage advisor, was also extremely supportive and knowledgeable throughout, securing a mortgage and answering our many questions! We are eternally grateful to the whole team for making what is known to be a stressful experience, as smooth as possible for us.

the lettings division are very poor, they are very quick at taking your money, but when something goes wrong they take an eterinty to return or respond to emails or telephone calls. Once you have vacated you cant get your secured dposit back, again the communication process and customer service is no existant.

Chris and Katie really listened to and catered for all my needs when putting the property on the rental market and have found me the dream tenant. I’m so glad I left it in their safe hands.

Google‘Every buyer / seller needs a Tom Harvey on their side’ I cannot praise the team here enough. James was our first POC, he was extremely informative and advised us to make the right decision on how we best price and list our property, he gave us confidence, and low and behold, we got the right offer from the right buyer in rapid time. Most importantly, the aftercare and coordination is the key to a smooth transaction and there’s an absolute standout team member to mention here, Tom Harvey, he’s absolutely fantastic, efficient and professional, he really is a superstar, Tom ensured that everything was in place and I honestly can’t praise him enough. They’ve changed my opinion on estate agents with a true 5 star service and are worth every single penny of their fee. Thanks for making our home sale a pleasure. Steve & Ash.

GoogleBrilliant, personal, professional service from James and the team at GH. Ours was a unique house for the area, which made finding the "right buyer" particularly important, and they did that in a timescale which enabled us to buy the house we wanted without resorting to external finance. The buyers also obviously loved our house which was important to us after living there for nearly thirty years. GH were very responsive to us as sellers, and, I believe, to our buyers. Highly recommended.

GoogleBrilliant, easy, high-quality experience. I recently sold a flat in Macclesfield through GH. During the inital 'consultation', Matt viewed my property. Owing to Matt being very well prepared (having completed research of similar sales and recent property prices in the area beforehand, having lived experience from within and around Macclesfield, and having also being trusted to manage a number of sales of other flats within the same building recently) we agreed a listing price very quickly and easily. Photos and a subsequent, high-quality listing quickly followed and my property was offered on in a short timeframe at the target price. My case was then handed over to Georgia, who, thoughout the whole experience thereafter, was fantastic. She was proactive, had truly great communication and was of great assistance with managing the buyer/seller relationship. She made everything very easy for me, and I felt like my proerty transaction was in very safe hands with her. I would highly recommend GH for anyone selling property in Macclesfield, as they show a high level of pride and quality in their service and own the jobs they sign up to.
