Dear Mariusz, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Firstly, I would like to apologise on behalf of both our legal services and mortgage teams. Unfortunately, you experienced a number of difficulties throughout your transaction, largely due to significant staff turnover. At RG Law, three case handlers left the firm during your purchase, which understandably caused disruption to the progression of your case. I appreciate how stressful this must have been for you. In addition, your remortgage application was picked up at the last minute by Just Mortgages. They have also experienced staff turnover this year, which meant your case was not reviewed as promptly as it should have been. This resulted in delays, leaving your mortgage offer close to expiry and requiring an extension. Following the extension, the lender reduced the amount they were prepared to lend. This is typically due to changes identified during their reassessment, such as additional credit commitments or other financial factors. I apologise if this was not fully explained to you at the time. As a first-time buyer, you should have been kept better informed throughout the process by both the solicitors and the mortgage advisers. I'm sorry that this was not your experience. Thank you for recognizing my own support during your purchase despite the challenges. It was a pleasure working with you, and I truly appreciate your patience and perseverance throughout the process.
