Chris and his team were excellent. Sound advice, a clear strategy for pricing and how to market and a real sense of energy. We put the apartment on the market in mid-August (never an ideal time) and were really impressed by the large number of viewings generated (around 20) and we agreed an offer in 4 weeks. Both parties were keen to move quickly and Chris stayed on top of progress, politely prompting when appropriate, always on hand to ensure clear communication between us and the buyer. There were some sticky points on the way outside of everyone's control, but Chris was a key support to us and our solicitor in overcoming obstacles. Completion happened 6 weeks after agreeing the offer, a real feat in such a sticky market. Having bought and sold in excess of 30 properties over the years, I can honestly say that Chris and the F J Lord team are one of the very best agents I've worked with, a genuine pleasure. I highly recommend them.

Viewed a flat on the day I enquired. Within a week and a half I had moved in (within that week the landlord had completed repainting and repairs, so the property was in great condition for move in). I had a great experience renting my house in London with the help of Inga Nair and Muzzafer Sasmaz. Chris Burke was efficient and empathetic to the issues I had throughout my tenancy. He followed up on a broken boiler I had for several weeks quickly and made sure maintenance came, the same week him and I got in touch for the first time, to get it sorted. When the bed frame broke, he came personally to arrange for a temporary fix until the new bed frame could arrive. When I wasn’t able to move out, due to personal circumstances, he communicated with the landlords and was able to arrange for an extension so I had enough time to find my new home. Overall, Chris Burke was quick to get a hold of, communicated efficiently, and was kind, thoughtful, and respectful. I’ve lived in 4 different countries in major cities for the last 10 years and Burke is genuinely the best, kindest and most considerate realtor I’ve ever encountered! I can’t recommend him enough as a realtor and property manager!! Thank you Chris Burke.

EDIT: just came across my original 5-star review, which was left after the staff asked me to leave one after starting the tenancy (take note: many other 5-stars here are probably the same, left at the start rather than the end of tenancy). Unfortunately FLJ let us down badly when major damage and renovations to the property were required. By far the worst letting experience I've ever had. Months of Kafka-esque communications, and persistent passing-of-the-buck between landlord and letting agency. Damage to our furniture, danger to our health, weeks of disruption to our home, no offer of compensation, endless phone calls and emails that vanished into the ether. We were left with the sense that FLJ really didn't care, or worse, found us irritating. After kicking up a fuss we got the eviction notice through the post. TL;DR: the most demoralising renting experience of my life. ________________ Smooth and easy start to a tenancy. Communication was very good from the start with special mention to Gemma and Inga who were very helpful and quick to respond to multiple questions we had. The online portal to sort the admin was easy to navigate and saved a bunch of hassle. We haven't moved yet so can only comment on the viewings/admin side of things, but yes, so far everything's been great, professional and personable.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism
