Discourteous and unprofessional

Felicity J Lord Wapping was the previous listing agent on a property I purchased, completing on 28 August. Their "To Let" board remained on the property afterwards. I called on 29 August and again on 4 September, both times politely asking for its removal, the second time within 48 hours. It was still there when I returned from a trip in mid-September, so I emailed a formal final notice on 21 September with a photo and a 48-hour deadline. Their response was that their contractor "attended today to remove the board but were unable to locate it," despite my having given the full address and a clear photo. As of today, 24 September - nearly four weeks post-completion - the board is still standing exactly where it was. I find this level of follow-through discourteous and unprofessional. It's telling how a company handles a simple, zero-fee request like this; on that basis alone, I wouldn't consider using them.

Excellent experience throughout with the Manager of this Estate Agency branch, Samik Vithlani. Of the agencies that appraised my flat for sale purposes, I felt that Sam was the most realistic about the achievable selling price. He didn’t wildly over-pitch on sale price just to gain my instruction, nor did he try to reduce my (well-researched) expectations of sale price by offering inappropriate/irrelevant comparisons. The enthusiastic John Costea then took over with the sales viewings and within less than a month I had several offers in line with my expectations, one of which I accepted. I cannot comprehend my gratitude to Alex and the team at Felicity J Lord, Greenwich. They have all been outstanding throughout the whole sale process. The solicitor we outsourced was very poor in their communications with us, however Alex and the team continued to chase all parties involved in the sale and ensure the completion date was met. The team was very responsive with their emails and phone calls, answering any questions we might have, and pushing the sale through. Whoever advised you to send a cold mail to my apartment, addressed to my landlord suggesting that you could increase my rent or let the property out at a higher rate showed very poor judgment. You should have known that any such mail would likely be seen by the current tenant living in the property. This was inappropriate, poorly thought out and highly unprofessional. I would fire whoever approved that marketing campaign.
