Excellent and very attentive personnel . The team have handled the agreement extension and the apartment audit with care and professionalism . The apartment was inspected by Sarah Kelsey and what I thought would be a challenge was in fact a very courteous friendly visit and focused on looking for what was considered to be minor maintenance required by the landlord. Fair wear and Tear was a clear direction rather than looking for something to hold me responsible. A very fair and pleasant visit and also took away my request on a possible white good change. Perfect customer liasion

I worked with Chantelle Dooher to find a rental in London. Not being from the UK I initially found the process daunting however Chantelle did an amazing job helping me find something in my price range and walking me through the offer process. She was constantly available to answer my questions and concerns, and was always happy to help. Not only that but she worked really quickly with me and the landlord to come to an agreement that worked for everyone. Would highly recommend working with her!

Chantelle was so incredibly helpful during the entire process- excellent service and was super on top of everything. Dreadful conversation with "Sena"

Dreadful conversation with "Sena", property manager, who contacted us about the electrical safety certificate that had expired 2 months ago. Luckily we were on the ball, and had done the required checks back in March. During the conversation, after I'd pointed out various failings by FJL and been spoken over multiple times I asked if she'd finished speaking so that I could speak to which she replied "You should be finished"!!!!! An implied threat perchance? As of today, 13th of May, our payment due on the 2nd of the month, is apparently going to arrive. Appalling service, as until yesterday evening they hadn't been in touch about their system issues regarding payments. After a conversation with their area director Julie Edwardes we agreed to part company, as she agreed the level of service given was far short of what was promised and paid for. She also listened to the call mentioned above, and was horrified. She told me the Bow branch manager would be reaching out to me. Guess what......absolutely nothing from him. Not a peep. Nada. Zilch.

Lily Porter in the Blackheath Village branch has recently been dealing the the let of our property. She dealt very ably with an incident that occurred at the property, responding to the tenant’s needs promptly, keeping us informed and obtaining reasonable quotes for us to rectify the problem quickly. She has since negotiated a rent increase for us with the same tenant and we are very happy with the competent way in which Lily is dealing with our property rental and liaising with us in a timely manner.

Rude staff

The agent, Taylor Ruff made an appointment with us for 10.30 am. He sent emails and text messages confirming the appointment. My husband spent 3 hours struggling across London during a rail strike to get to the viewing only for Taylor to not show up. We made phone calls and sent messages but got no response. After waiting for more than an hour it was a 3 hour journey back. A completely wasted day. We have had no response from them to our calls and messages. No apology. I have attempted to contact the branch and/or area manager but no one will give me contact details. I was told the branch manager would call me back. She hasn't. Totally unprofessional and flat out rude.

Avoid renting through Felicity J Lord…

Avoid renting through Felicity J Lord if you value getting your deposit back. Based on my experience, they will look for any excuse to make deductions at the end of your tenancy. They may try to pressure you into paying for a “professional clean,” but this is not a legal requirement, the property only needs to be left in a reasonably clean condition. Don’t let them mislead you into unnecessary expenses. Protect yourself from the start: take extensive photos and videos when you move in and when you move out. Without solid evidence, you may find them inventing reasons to withhold your deposit.

Extremely Poor Property Management Service

Letting and property management service extremely poor. Bad communication throughout the tenancy including failing to respond to emails and failing to inform of crucial communal changes including changing of locks to a bike store. It took over a month to get our deposit back from leaving the rental property with no communication despite several emails and phone calls. Also, be very careful when leaving any property as the property management/landlords kept making things up to deduct from our deposit despite evidence against their claims. Would advise letters to look at other alternatives based on my experience.

We were very impressed with Christopher Lloyd at the Wapping branch. He had a tenant lined up at the asking rent within 5 days of making the initial contact, a tenant who has shown herself to be very reliable and trustworthy so far. Christopher dealt very speedily with all the surveys and documentation and responded almost immediately to any emails or messages. He deserves 5 stars. We did however struggle with FJL’s app and on line contacts. Docuserve was troublesome and a bit stressful.

We use the Shad Thames Branch in London SE1, Lettings Department. The lettings team of 3 lovely ladies, Gemma, Inga and Monica is very professional and always look after our interests very well. Good management, OK contractors

We have been renting with FJL for about a year now and it has generally been good bar some of the miscommunication that has happened when we've needed a fix/inquiry in the property. We have specifically dealt with Jean and she has been great and been proactive with the requests made and makes sure to follow up, the downside is that some contractors that they send are hit and miss in terms of resolving the problem and them needing to come back etc.
