GoogleDON’T TRUST ENFIELDS
If you’re a student these people tried to up the rent without asking the landlords permission when we wanted to extend our stay for another year.
When we left we tidied and cleaned and left the place in a better state than when we originally moved in.
However LISA will try to hold on to her retainer by any means possible. She tried to charge us £400 for 5 tied up bin bags we’d left out for the council to collect and when she FINALLY sent the invoice we called up that company who claimed they would only charge us £50!!!!!
Same goes for the supposed ‘cleaning costs of £450’ the eventual invoice was for a cleaning company based all the way in London?!
There was a glass panel that was broken when we moved in which they claimed it cost £80 to replace. I decided to look into this by asking the new tenants if I could check it had been replaced and it hadn’t!!!
They are lying fraudsters and I am bitterly disappointed that they go after the poor students who are probably living away from home for the first time! 🤦🏻

GoogleIf it were possible to give 0 stars I would. I have had countless issues with them- they blame issues on you, approve houses that should not be lived in, make you feel bad if a landlord has to pay for things even if a place is legally uninhabitable, they do as little as they can get away with and make you look as if you’re in the wrong. They have no sympathy and benefit off of students who know no better and expect you to live with mould and damp even if you have asthma and have told them you can’t breathe in the house. Absolutely horrible company. You’d be making the worst mistake going with them.

GoogleI don't normally give reviews for anything but I have just sold my house through Enfields and I am so happy with their service that I thought it was important to share my experience for anyone else looking to sell their home.
In terms of valuing the house, Jonathan didn't try to low ball us for a quick sale and actually valued the house higher than two other agents. His valuation was spot on which was proven when it came to agreeing the price on our house with the buyer. Had we gone with the other valuations provided we would have ultimately lost money.
The idea of having viewings in our house whilst living there seemed very daunting at first but Jonathan gave us lots of really good advice about what was important and not so important in getting ready for these. I believe that this advice resulted in a very quick offer that we accepted.
The viewings and negotiations were handled by Jack and we found it really helpful to have one single point of contact for this as he became very familiar with our house and what we were hoping to achieve. For every single viewing we were consulted about a time that was convenient for us without any pressure or feeling that we needed to work around the agents schedule. It was clear that Jack was very experienced and provided useful feedback on each viewing.
When the offer was accepted we were then taken through the second phase by Rachael who was absolutely amazing! There were some challenges with the house that we were buying through another agent but Rachael was able to keep the whole chain together and was willing to speak with all solicitors, other agents and even vendors in the chain that weren't her responsibility. Rachael kept us updated almost daily and was always so lovely and helpful to talk to that I looked forward to our chats and it felt like I had a friend guiding me through what could have been a very stressful process.
I want to thank the Enfields team for such a high quality and personal service and highly recommend them if you are looking to sell your home!
