Very disappointing experience with this agency. We first viewed the property in person, after being told that if we wished to apply, we should then submit our documents. Following the viewing, we applied and provided everything requested, including copies of our passports and completing all reference checks. Only at the very end of the process were we asked about our employment situation in the local area. Shortly after, we were told our application had been passed to the landlord, who then decided not to let to us. If having confirmed work in the area was a key requirement, this should have been made clear at the very start, before the viewing and before we spent a full week going through the process. Instead, we drove 8 hours round trip for the viewing and invested significant time and effort unnecessarily. We have never had issues paying rent on time, so this outcome feels unfair and like a complete waste of our time. The process showed poor communication and a lack of transparency.

The team at Bradleys in Budleigh Salterton have helped us sell two properties of the last 18 months. It would be fair to say that the path hasn't been smooth, more through force of circumstance than anybody's fault but Robin, Jo and the rest of the staff have always been helpful, reassuring and there when you need them. Not sure what else you could ask from an estate agents? Would I recommend them to a friend? Absolutely!

I have to give a shout out to Emma H at Bradley's Plymstock - they were not even our agents for our home purchase- we were in a chain that was complicated and was taking a long time with people dragging their feet and too many 'cooks in the kitchen' so it was a bit of a circus- until emma stepped in. Bradley's represented one of the homes in the chain so when we went in to explain who we were she immediately offered to step in and be the one to try to move things along. And so she did! I am sure that we would not have completed on our home until much longer than we did if it wasnt for her. She made things happen and we really appreciated it! Emma is a star!

Laura, Heleney and Kerry at Bradleys Plymstock provided an excellent service in our recent property purchase. Relocating to Plymouth from Bristol was not an easy process as we only had short windows available for viewings, and we were keen on a quick sale and purchase but they were more than helpful in fitting us in. From the initial viewing, second viewing to completion they were very helpful and always on hand with any queries and in liaising with our sellers and solicitors. From listing our previous house to completion took around three months and we were pleased and impressed with the speedy and smooth process. Bradley’s were so amazing at assisting us on purchasing our first new home. They have been very professional, supportive, helpful and caring during the last 16 weeks. Nothing was ever too much for us to ask from them. When we first started viewing properties we visited all the local estate agents in Honiton and found them to be very unprofessional and unhelpful. They were not friendly and found they just cared about selling the house as soon as possible compared to the service at Bradley’s where they allowed us to re-view the property and ask lots of questions. Started off really well with our viewing, carried out by agent. Very knowledgeable about the area, the property etc. and answered questions we had. Sale process went through smoothly, resulting in us not particularly hearing from Bradley’s until completion, unless we contacted them. However, upon completion we were given the wrong property’s keys to our new home which was rectified a few days later and also found out that although our property was not marketed with parking, we had been told by numerous different members of staff in the Estate Agents on multiple times that there was village parking available, only to discover this was not the case and we now have nowhere to park our vehicles, leaving us in quite a mess. The parish council have shown us proof that they contacted Bradley’s on numerous occasions to say that parking was not available but not once have the agents come forward to speak to us about it.

I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Bradleys in Camborne. Claire, Nick, Tean and Reece were all professional, friendly, and prompt in following up any issues. Claire in particular, whom I principally dealt with, was extremely impressive, chivvying things along when necessary and dealing swiftly and effectively with tardy solicitors - nothing was too much trouble for her. However the whole team deserve credit for making me feel that my experience of selling my home was important to them. If every branch of Bradleys is as good as this one, they are really on to something, and I would recommend anyone selling their home to consider using them.
