Greg and his team at Mutley handled my (reluctant and emotional!) sale of a treasured property, with enthusiasm, sensitivity and kindness. It was so nice to be able to get sensible answers and some reassurance when various queries were raised by potential buyers - each of which made me panic! My last sale was 20 years ago and I felt so out of touch with it all. Greg and Jess were always smart, upbeat and very professional throughout the viewings, whilst quietly advising me in a realistic way. The complex sale proceeded very smoothly, with an excellent outcome. First class service. Five star staff. 10 out of 10 for everything! Thank you so much 😊

Bradley's Estate Agents on Mutley Plain were superb to deal with. They had sold my mum's house last year quickly and professionally with updates throughout the sale, therefore we instructed Bradley's to sell one of our apartments in Plymouth. This time we dealt with Chloe, who was passionate, timely and professional once again. We can't thank Chloe enough for all her hard work completing within 9 weeks which went so very smooth and updated us constantly throughout the process. We have recently completed the purchase of a property in Plymouth via Bradleys. Our main contact was Jessica Dare who was most professional and helpful throughout the process. Communication and feedback was excellent and the inevitable queries and negotiations dealt with quickly and efficiently. Once we had agreed the purchase Bradleys appointed a sales progressor, Karen Miller to see everything through to completion. Karen chivied up all parties to ensure there were no hold ups, a very helpful role. Top marks to Jess, Karen and all the team for making the purchase as easy as possible.

I mainly dealt with Chloe who would call me to arrange viewings. She was never pushy - always asking if the day/time was convenient for me. Mostly she gave feedback straight after the viewing - if she had to rush off she’d always contact me soon after to give feedback. Unlike many estate agents I’ve used in the past, Chloe never set up viewings with people who weren’t able to proceed with a purchase if they liked the property. This was important to me - not just because of Covid, but also because of time issues. Once I had a buyer, Chloe kept in contact - letting me know how things were progressing and always checking if I had any questions or concerns. There was a lack of communication towards the end of the sale (conveyancers) where it was challenging to get an agreed completion date. Chloe went above and beyond to contact everyone in order to come up with an agreed date. The person I was purchasing from also noticed this and commented ‘we wouldn’t be exchanging now if it wasn’t for Chloe!’ I cannot recommend her enough. I predominantly dealt with Chloe Tonkin but had initially been corresponding with Dean Crocker; both of them were professional and responded in a timely manner to my enquiries. Take a look at the pictures...I'll tell you the story below. David moved into his new house weeks ago now. It has been a fiasco from the beginning. They hadn't done an SOC so he was sat outside, with his furniture in the yard, waiting for someone to come do that the day he moved in. THEN when they open the door, they find the shower has leaked and the house is FLOODED! We're talking inches deep in water - downstairs is uninhabitable - but he still needs to move in - he has his furniture outside remember? They tell him they'll sort it. He moves all his furniture upstairs. SO, he's in a soaking wet house and the boiler is broken, so he has no heating! Has to leave the windows open - the conservatory leaks anyway. The carpet in the lounge and hall are DRENCHED - this stays like this for a couple of weeks until he manages to bully them into getting someone in to clean the carpets because by now the smell is unbearable - the damp is rising all through the house - he's catching water at the top of the stairs in a dehumidifier he buys himself! The guy comes in - does the carpets - but really, it doesn't help - they're still soaked. Despite lots of ringing and complaining - nothing has been done still - except they gave him a tiny little dehumidifier that he has to plug in (all on the electric bill?) that really isn't making much difference - the fight against the damp is ongoing - the tiles on the kitchen floor are lifting - water drips through light bulbs and the electric board is bare (as you can see) the toilet leaks and the doors don't shut anymore (expanded in the wet). I've told him to come home but he doesn't want to move away - he's 20 mins away from work where he is - he's an hour or two away here. So we need action - we need to get these people (he's paying nearly £700 a month for this property by the way!!!!) to DO something - move him to another property close by and get this wreck of a house ship-shape! Please please please call or email Mutley Bradley's and help my boy out (it can't be good for his physical and mental wellbeing can it?) - share far and wide please - let's see if we can get FB doing something useful on a personal level! Having never dealt with Bradley’s I’m sure they’re no better, or worse than any other letting agents. I have, however dealt with one of their Landlords, John Garland. Five and a half years I rented one of his flats. I kept the place immaculate, and paid the rent early every month. All I got for my loyalty was a rent increase from 450 to 550 a month for a substandard 1 bedroom flat at Cattedown. And a leaking roof for 5 years. Needless to say, I made the decision to walk away.

I Will certainly provide details. I see no reason not to share them online but I'm sure you have your reasons for wanting me not to write them on the internet for others to see. 1) You took over 3 months to get your tenants gate fixed which left my propert and the one below ata ahightened security risk. 2)When advised that your tenants had erected equipment on my roof which is not weight baring you did nothing to rectify this and I had to speak to the tenants myself. 3)You are slow in responding to emails if you respond at all and when you do the responce is usualy borderline rude. 4)Even when you did eventually get the gate 'fixed' it was a bodge job and I beleive that it provides no security to my flat nor the one bellow. 5)I have never been offered an apology for the behaviour of the tenants when they were causing constant noise throughout the night. nor for the lack of responces and tardiness in your completion of work that both myself and the owners of the flat bellow me have received. 6) I have still not received money for the leak that was caused by your tenants which happened over a year ago now. I could go on but you are complete waste of time and I doubt this will change anything apart from hopefully discouraging some people from using you for anything in the future.

The most disgusting estate agents I have ever used, and I have been selling and buying since 1987the whole office at mutley plain needs sacking, no trust with any of them. They all lie to cover each others backs. I'm taking my complaint to the very top.
