GoogleIf I could give zero stars, I would. This has been an absolutely awful experience from start to finish. We felt constantly pressured and pushed into decisions that suited the buyers, not us. It seemed like all they cared about was what the buyers wanted, while our concerns were repeatedly ignored, even though we were paying substantial fees. At no point did we feel our side was truly heard or represented. I would never use this agency again, and I'd strongly advise others to avoid them too.

Dear Viktorija, we take reviews very seriously, as it provides an opportunity to improve any gaps in the service and experience we provide. Having looked into this transaction of you selling and buying through the Okehampton office, I can only see extensive contact providing communication throughout by the local office team and the dedicated sales progressor, Karen. There is a balance of providing a service for buyers but acting for our clients, the sellers. There is no suggestion of an incorrect balance; in fact, the file suggests if we didn't communicate as frequently, the sale would have fallen apart some time ago. We do appreciate everyone has their own opinion; however, the summary looks like we found a buyer immediately, agreed the sale at the asking price, then communicated really frequently throughout until the move was completed. In this tough property market, it looks to be a good outcome. We do hope you enjoy your new home and wish you all the best.

GoogleHouse hunting isn't my favourite pastime but finding a good estate agent is crucial and we found Bradleys of Okehampton to be really helpful, especially Nic Finch, who was very professional and attentive. His follow-up calls were above and beyond. Most of the other agents either didn't bother or were bordering on the rude. I have dealt with customers for over 40 years and he stood out against the other 2 viewings we have had with other companies. He was calm, relaxed and thoughtful. GoogleVery disappointing experience with this agency.
We first viewed the property in person, after being told that if we wished to apply, we should then submit our documents. Following the viewing, we applied and provided everything requested, including copies of our passports and completing all reference checks. Only at the very end of the process were we asked about our employment situation in the local area. Shortly after, we were told our application had been passed to the landlord, who then decided not to let to us.
If having confirmed work in the area was a key requirement, this should have been made clear at the very start, before the viewing and before we spent a full week going through the process. Instead, we drove 8 hours round trip for the viewing and invested significant time and effort unnecessarily.
We have never had issues paying rent on time, so this outcome feels unfair and like a complete waste of our time. The process showed poor communication and a lack of transparency.
