I cannot praise Bradleys highly enough. Christian's valuation was spot on and he is a pleasure to work with, but he is backed up by such an expert team. I was promised good communication and team-wide understanding of my sale, and that's exactly what I got. No matter who I spoke to, they could help me or they got back to me with an answer promptly. Cathy is particularly brilliant: very customer focused with a comprehensive understanding of all the issues that arise and how to solve them. Thank you Christian, Cathy, Josh, Jake and the entire Bradleys team.

Great experience with Bradley's, Exeter, who recently sold our house for us. There were many issues along the way, but Cathy's persistence and professionalism overcame them all. The team are always available and very helpful. Someone always came back to us in a timely manner if we had any questions. I would definitely recommend this company. Thank you again for all your help.

Sent a email via rightmove on a rental property filled out the most detailed tenants form I've seen just to get a viewing heard nothing sent a email directly to the agents still nothing rang no answer with how quickly rental properties go in Exeter being completely ignored tells me everything i need to know

Dear Lewis, sorry to hear about your disappointment when expressing an interest in a property to rent. When completing the enquiry form, it does state at the end that if your details do not match the criteria of the property, you may not receive a call and to explore alternative properties. Whilst we know this isn't ideal, due to the vast number of enquiries for lettings properties, we cannot get to each enquiry. We are continuing to look at this and hope to continue to improve the process. We wish you every luck with your search.

Had a great experience using Bradley’s selling my property. Christian and Cathy were brilliant and kept me updated throughout the process. Christian was very professional and gave really helpful and honest advice about pricing and was spot on with how much he thought the property was worth. Very grateful for a smooth sale!

Survey for equity release carried out and the same arrogant rude man came. Despite having 7 surveys by other companies all who valued our property as £695,000 and it being recently put on the market for £735,000 your surveyor has for the second time valued our unique thatched house as £640,000. Trying to compare it with other properties not at all like ours is not a true valuation.

Dear Valerie, it appears you may have confused Bradleys Chartered Surveyors with Bradleys Estate Agents. If you would be kind enough to place a review on the correct company google account, then they will be able to respond appropriately. Thank you.

From start to finish what a fabulous service, making the sale of our late parents property far less painful than it already was. From assistance in ensuring we priced the property sensibly for the current market based on location and surrounding amenities, to beautiful photos reflecting the warmth of our family home and garden, to a host of organised viewings, being kept updated all the way through, especially with feedback from potential buyers, then negotiations when a buyer put in an offer ensuring it all went smoothly, all while managing our expectations with such professionalism. Josh, Jake and Cathy are a real asset to Bradleys. Warm, welcoming and efficient. Thank you all. You definitely deserve a 5 star rating.

Highly recommend Bradleys. From Joshua in the Sales team who sold our house with 6 weeks! to Jade in the Surveyors team who made the survey very easy to understand and provided valuable out of hours assistance around our full time jobs, and lastly to Cathy who was amazing at keeping us informed and assisting us all the way to completion. Absolutely superb service, all round making a stressful time, as stress free as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Josh and his team in Exeter were excellent in all aspects of the process of selling my house. They were encouraging and supportive when things went quiet and pulled out all the stops to bring round clients to view. Their agents were always on time, ready to welcome the clients. I recommend Bradleys wholeheartedly.

Isent an email about asking for some property advice what will lead to a sell of one of my properties? No one ever came back to me.

Thomas · 22 May 2026

Agent replied · 22 August 2026

Dear Thomas Ashford, we do apologise for this, which is most unusual, as we have a customer experience team responding to emails, unless it was sent directly to the office. Perhaps you could contact us at info@beagroup.co.uk to confirm where you sent this email, please, to ensure this doesn't happen again? We would be delighted to assist you if it is still relevant.

Selling my house with the Bradley’s team was the best choice when deciding which estate agent. Meeting Robin was reassuring as he swiftly put the house on the market, and ensured the details were correct. Soon after his visit people were regularly viewing the house. After a few weeks the person who bought the property offered and agreed a price. During this process I met the formidable and amazing Cathy. Her wise counsel ensured I was ready to exchange. Unfortunately a person further down the chain did not receive the support that Cathy and her team gave myself and my buyer. We then experienced delays. Despite the delays, created by the limited support for the person earlier in the chain, Cathy was on the case moving the purchase/sale forward. She was incredible and I am forever grateful to her. After some gentle encouragement from Cathy I eventually moved into my lovely new home. My experience supports my recommendation - I cannot recommend Cathy, Robin, Felix and the rest of the team enough.

Bradleys handled the sale of our period house this year and we were extremely grateful for all of the work they put in to make it happen. The sale wasn't straightforward (not due to the agency), but the staff team were consistently reliable, efficient and persistent. We really appreciated their expertise and help. We dealt with quite a few other agencies when searching for a house to buy, and we would always now recommend Bradleys to anyone looking to sell.

I had a very good experience with Bradley's during the marketing and sale of my bungalow in Exeter. Feedback from viewings was provided quickly, and once the sale was agreed, it was progressed very efficiently. Bradley's provided a very good, professional service, and I would certainly use them again if I were selling a further property in the area.

These agents process so slow, difficult and irresponsible. After asking us to fill out a rather invasive and unnecessary financial details, they still didn’t manage to figure out the affordability on time, and blame the landlord for pulling out last minute. We also offered to pay for half year to full year rent in advance, they said no… After spending almost a month with them, they only respond and move thing a bit forward when we call them, otherwise no progress at all. We trusted them and wasted whole month waiting for their slow progress, only one day before the date we were suppose to move, they told us that landlord decided to pull out last minute even though we passed our financial check. I suggest for people who rent, not to go with them lifetime if you don’t want to end up homeless and stuck in Exeter Airbnb trying to get a place desperately. People who is landlord, please give other hard working agents a better chance. There are agents out there move things as fast as they could to help the landlord secure a tenant…not like Bradley, after whole month of wait and in the end blame the landlord for pulling out last minute…

Dear Mr John, thank you for taking the time to write a review of your experience. We take customer experience very seriously and therefore have looked into the matter. As you correctly state, we do have a thorough referencing process that is undertaken by a third party, including the affordability elements. This is clearly to protect our landlords and tenants so that everyone is comfortable with the proposed tenancy. The checks can only be carried out when the full information is provided, which can affect the timescale in which we can confirm whether a tenancy can proceed. It is unfortunate on this occasion that once we were in a position to proceed, the landlord had a change of situation, which was unavoidable. We do hope you are now settled and wish you all the best in your new home.

The Bradley's team were extremely knowledgeable and took the worry out of selling my property. Robin was very professional in his approach and I was grateful for his advice. I was kept informed throughout the process. I recommended Bradley's to my sister in law, when she was selling her property and she's recently completed. So, two happy customers. Well done Bradley's!

From the moment I invited Bradleys to value my home, I knew I was in safe hands. Robin explained the process of selling very clearly, including all charges I would be expected to pay. He was both professional and reassuring, and made an overwhelming prospect, being on my own, seem very simple. I simply cannot recommend the Exeter branch of Bradleys enough. Sales negotiator Becky put all of her energy into selling my home, and kept in contact with me constantly, keeping me up to date with viewings and prospective buyers. However, by far the most helpful member of staff, I have ever met, in any walk of life was the assistant branch manager Cathy Nickels. She kept me sane! She dealt with numerous telephone calls a day with me. Sometimes at 9 o ’clock at night, when she was still in the office. And always cheerfully! I learnt more about conveyancing from her, than I did through any solicitor, and she spent as much time helping me with the legal niggles regarding the house I was buying. She was forever positive, ensuring me that even with all the normal hold ups, my sale would go through. I cannot thank her enough. I had not sold a home for 20 odd years and appreciated her constant support so much. Bradleys Exeter have reinstated my faith in customer service. Whilst the world is going mad, this small team are working for their customers, with honesty and integrity. Thank you! Katie T

I am absolutely disgusted with Bradley's. We have had nothing but issues since we first moved into our house. We weren't even given all of the right keys to the property so we couldn't secure the garage until we made a maintenance request to get it fixed. With the inventory we were given, Bradley's couldnt even be bothered to change the names, it was still in the names of the previous tenants and the inventory was wrong. They are aware of problems that they still haven't bothered to fix. There were also numerous maintenance issues we had to get rectified that they just couldn't be bothered to sort before we moved in, including a toilet seat that needed completely replacing. They didn't bother to tell us we were renting a property that needed a parking permit to park outside on the street, so we got a ticket, and according to them they are not at fault because it's not their job to tell us because they said there is a space around the back, even though when we were showed round I said we would have 2 cars. All of our bad experience has mainly been from the Exeter city centre branch. They have also told us out right lies. I would advise anyone thinking of using them to be very careful!!! I would not recommend them to anyone and have found them to be completely incompetent!!!
