Not the cheapest, hence 4 stars, but can’t fault the friendly and helpful staff, the secure access and good sized rooms.

Very disappointed with the service. I drive a long way to get here, but every single time I visit, the customer toilet is closed or 'out of service'. It is extremely inconvenient for customers who travel long distances. Please fix this issue and keep basic facilities operational.Thanx

Romi · 11 August 2026 · Big Yellow Self Storage Co Ltd Cambridge

Agent replied · 11 October 2026

Hello Romi Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience regarding the customer toilet at our Cambridge store. Unfortunately, the toilet has recently developed a fault and now requires maintenance. Please be assured that this is being treated as a priority and is currently being addressed. I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you for the great service. I especially appreciate the efforts of Marcus and his colleague in getting my storage sorted out. They went above and beyond to help me, and their excellent customer service made a huge difference. Thanks again for the fantastic experience!

This is my first time using a storage unit and I was quite anxious about all the logistics but so far have been really impressed! Marcus and David have both been fantastic at different times, but Marcus got me set up and explained everything to me really clearly, answering every question I had with a smile. The facility is immaculate and there are plenty of high quality palettes available which has been a huge help for moving things! It feels very secure. I’ve also been impressed by how safe it seems, as a single woman moving items this is reassuring, as it makes me feel more secure about popping in outside normal hours if I need to. So far, an excellent experience!

Would give more stars if I could. Kasia is an absolute star and I cant reccomend Big Yellow Storage any more. She was professional, knowledgeable and helpful in every aspect of booking student storage for our daughter and also helped set up app and talked us through using it to access storage Unit. An absolute credit to the company.
