GoogleFirst time using this company. Over the phone - Great! In store - Terrible! From the moment we entered the receptionist was disgraceful. Stinking attitue and argumentative. Emailed customer services with a complaint and was told I would hear from the manager at Bow. Obviously still waiting to hear back from them weeks after. Let down and will not be using them again!

GoogleOverall it was a good experience, the facilities are modern and staff was polite. The only slight problem was that I brought a Royal Mail redirection confirmation letter as proof of address but the person signing me up was insisting that I need a bank statement even when I explained that I have pretty much everything only electronically. Eventually after minutes of pleading and a colleague coming over it was accepted and everyone was happy :)

GoogleWe had an excellent experience here - the staff member who greeted us was extremely friendly, helpful and informative. The check-in process was very smooth and the option to upgrade the storage space to a bigger unit on the day was very useful. I highly recommend Big Yellow Self Storage.

Googlewe've recently had the eviction notice for our private rented home as the landlord wants to sell and due to myself being made to take sick leave from work for a few months we lived on our savings which left us with no money to up and move into a new home and with no help from the council were having to move in with parents with two children, we have a whole house of stuff that obviously wouldn't fit in the parents house so we've arranged to rent a unit from Big Storage Chester, and I must say the service of the staff there has been exceptional and we've been made very educated on how it all works, this has been from one member of staff in particular, Leah from the Chester branch. GoogleMoving house is always a stressful time - especially if you need to store some furniture before completing your move. I'd never put household effects into storage before and had no idea of what to expect. My emails were answered promptly and provided all the details in a straight forward un-complicated way. When I arrived with my van load of furniture I received a calm, professional and courteous reception - just the thing to settle you down during a busy day. The depot is immaculate and I was at once confident that my treasured possessions would be secure and safe. All this plus the most favourable price I could find with serious comparisons via the internet! I cannot sing the praises high enough for Big Yellow Storage - and recommend them to anyone as professionals who provide an excellent service.

GoogleCan't rate this facility & staff highly enough - while the location is INCREDIBLY useful (just around the corner from Elmers End Tesco & tram stop), it's far enough from the main road that you won't cause too much trouble getting to it, although the traffic near can get "backed up" as the roads aren't fantastically wide The staff are helpful and friendly, the storage facility is large with a wide variety of sizes... the only strange thing about the pricing is that if you need extended hours (outside of 8am-6pm) is that a week is £2.50 yet a "one off" is £5, go figure! Overall, if you need storage near Beckenham/Croydon/Crystal Palace, you can't go far wrong with this Big Yellow - I can't fault them
