Really impressed with the service from Big Yellow Storage. The whole process was straightforward from start to finish, and I especially liked the app, which made access and exit really easy and convenient. A special mention to Kasia, Emma, Jeff and Xsara, who were all excellent. Their customer service was friendly, helpful and genuinely made the experience much easier. Really good facilities, simple access and a great team. I’d happily recommend Big Yellow Storage to anyone looking for secure and hassle-free storage.

I’ve used this storage facility since June 2024 and I’m vacating my room this week. Throughout my time there have been a few issues (no light in the room, issues with making a payment through the website) all of which were resolved by the friendly staff on the reception and in the head office. Communication following the light issue was poor, but the store confirmed this was due to staff changes which I sympathise with. Recently I attended the store as my sister was setting up an account and we were helped by Xsara who was wonderful. Really helpful and knowledgeable. I was really pleased to see there was now an app customers could use instead of having to type in your code everytime you arrive. The team always do their best to get you the best prices on storage, I’d use them again in the future if I needed to store anything!

I have had a unit at the Chester Depot for approx 3 years - Jeff set it up for me and has looked after me from the outset - I cannot fault the service that I have received whilst I have been a customer - I would recommend this depot to any friends wanting to rent a unit and if Jeff provides them with the same level of service that he has given to me then I know that they will be in very capable hands - thank you Jeff you have been truly amazing

Zara was lovely and friendly and helped us get set up and Emma made the checkout process nice and easy. It was quite a lengthy process to get set up, lots of security measures but once we were it was easy to access the unit. Times you could access were a bit limited though

I made an enquiry mid week as we needed a storage solution after the passing of a family member. This morning I was able to start moving items in!! A young lady called xsara handled my enquiry from the beginning, she was extremely understanding and helpful when setting everything up especially given my awful grasp on technology!! She helped guide me through an app which stores the information I need for entry & exit and explained all of the sundries available to help us get things packaged safely and securely. The site seems very secure with multiple security features including :alarms,padlocks, numerical input. The room we have opted for is a reasonable size, again lots of advice to help choose the right size for us

If the rating was based just on customer service it would be 10/10. We had the lovely Xara show us around and her energy was amazing, complete credit to the company ! The place was nice and clean and we completely fell in love with an office space however unfortunately we did not end up using this company as they do not allow dogs (a lot of similar business in the area do accept dogs). We have a tiny 8 year old chihuahua that comes every where with us due to it being unsafe to leave her alone with her health issues. Everything else was great but the dog policy was unfortunately an issue. If you do not have a needy dog and you need a storage space to work from then i recommend !
