I wish I was able to rate beyond 5 stars. My experience with the staff was stellar, Simeon and Stef were not only mindful and understanding of the stressful situation I was in and the time constraint I was up against, but thoughtfully helped me asses what option was most compatible to solve my problem, going out of their way to help me through the process in a way that I’ve rarely experienced in customer service. I had my back against the wall and without their help I wouldn’t have been able to successfully reach the end of my deadline. In my opinion the quality of a company is defined through it’s employees, and in this case it was an exemplary masterclass, other businesses could and should take note. Thank you again Stef and Simeon! Absolute legends.

Fyi, majority of the CCTV cameras are dummy cameras (there are cctv cameras pointing the the reception, the lift and the carpark only). There are no security alarms on the small locker units as advertised. It is not mandatory to purchase a plastic sheet for the floor but you will be coerced into buying one. Would recommend Cinch storage instead.

Had a storage unit with Big Yellow for a while now and it has made my life as a small business owner 10x easier! No more waiting all day for the delivery men to come and collect parcels or drop them off, peace of mind that my stock is safe at all times and the ‘out of hour’ access are all reasons why I love big yellow so much! Moving so many items at once can be quite overwhelming but the staff at this specific Big Yellow are incredibly kind and helpful! A special thank you to Lauren who is always more than happy to help out, and has been nothing short of excellent every time I’ve needed her help for something.

Shout out to Matt Wells, an absolute asset to the great team there! He was so helpful on the phone prior to the move; and on the day itself I am so grateful to him for going through everything in such detail, and taking me through the inventory. That would have taken me at least twice as long to do on my own at least. Move days are horrifically stressful, and I found the atmosphere at reception with Matt and his colleagues to be so calm and welcoming and friendly, that it provided welcome respite from all the packing. He offered me water for my little dog, and also offered me tea or coffee; and it was just so nice to experience a lovely touch of kindness in a manic day. He also gave me some great removal recommendations which I am looking at for the move out. Huge thanks to Matt for all your help and care, much appreciated.

I reserved a room online that was 100sq ft. I was very fortunate to be called by Charlie who works there to inform me of more suitable storage space sizes for more reasonable prices. He also gave me a viewing of the spaces we talked about to confirm my choice. He was a life saver and allowed me to make a more informed decision about the space I need. If you're a Clueless first-timer to self storage like I am, Charlie is your guy! When I came to fulfill my reservation and move my items into storage, Kelsey was exceptional (in that she offered me coffee and water to drink) and very friendly. If you're a shy person who needs a storage space (or cheering up), ask for Kelsey!

Moving house is so stressful, particularly when you are moving back from Liverpool to Sussex and your move falls through last minute and suddenly you need to put everything in storage! Matt and Charlie couldn’t have been more helpful, I was so stressed when the storage unit wasn’t big enough to accommodate everything and my removal team didn’t pack it well. They supplied tea, reassuring words, coped with my tears, sorted everything out, found me another box and exemplified customer service! I really can’t thank these two amazing staff enough! A real asset to their employer and the service at Big Yellow Box has been exceptionally good! I would highly recommend and if you are lucky enough to deal with Matt and Charlie you are in very safe hands! 5* service start to finish! Honestly can’t thank these guys enough!!!!

Had to store my things at short notice due to unexpected circumstances. I couldn't have found a better place. Lauren was absolutely amazing. I've never stored anything before and wasn't even sure how much space I needed. She quickly looked at what I had and gave me the correct size of unit. She walked me through the whole process and was there to answer all my questions. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She made me (and my son) feel welcome and was very compassionate about my situation. A truly awful day and Lauren was the smile I needed to see, the friendly face and the one who made me laugh after days of tears. To get such service anywhere these days, let alone at a storage centre, is rare. That lady is a gem. People say you never know what impact a smile can have on another person, well it had a big impact on me, thank you so much.

Great service! Charlie and Maddie where exceptional in explaining all I had to know. As a first time customer, I was really surprised when, few days before the move, Charlie called me asking if I had any questions about the practicality of moving in. Maddie is a new member of the team but if I hadn't got told I wouldn't have said so for her great skills. The building feels super safe and clean. Great customer service, highly recommend if you need to store your goods short or long term. Vince
