GoogleHelpful, well situated and easy access. Very nice properties around Totnes. Good for if you want a whole house or farm - they have possibly the best range in Totnes (South hams). Medium wait times on the phone, often (like most relters) they expect high deposits. With full financial checks that cost at your risk.

GoogleA couple of years ago Staggs sold my mothers house for us. We went to them last year to sell our own as we were very pleased with there service. It has been a long process for lots of reasons which are not to do with Staggs, but through it all they’ve been there offering support and advice. This is a very professional company, the staff are thoughtful, helpful and courteous. I do not hesitate to recommend them.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleFive out of five for Lauren Anthony who I understand is relatively new at Totnes Stags. She was instrumental in helping me buy one property and sell another. Great at keeping me informed what everyone was doing (ie. solicitors/surveyors etc) and very persistent in everything. Also must praise the immense practicality of Sally who accompanies viewers. She was so helpful in working out what "pipes" did what when trying to understand water and heating system on a visit to the property I purchased. If you are buying or selling through Stags, I thoroughly recommend Lauren and Sally to help you through the process.

GoogleAs a buyer, I have to give the guys at Stags a full five stars. From the start, Addie kept in regular contact with me and communication was professional, with just the right amount of humanness and humour. She was extremely reassuring, when the process became a tad stressful. When Addie was furloughed, Claire took over and the transition was seamless. Equal credit must go to both, Addie for month's of grafting on both my and my seller's behalf and Claire for getting us over the line, despite the implications of the lockdown. I can not thank them enough. Both are a credit to Stags... do give them a bonus.

GoogleLiterally never respond to viewing requests. Cash buyer with other properties - not a tyre kicker. Bought three other properties in Taunton alone so not a time waster. Messages left, emails sent and nothing. Others have exactly the same experience so not unique. Looking at a 730k property and asked 3 times for a viewing by email. If I was the seller I'd be none too pleased with that. Workshy at best - dodgy at worst. I'll certainly never use them for any sales.

GoogleWe are trying to buy a property in Taunton, and found one on right move which looked suitable. I emailed ands asked for a response.....nothing. So I rang the next day, being a Saturday at 12.30 (no one explained they closed at 13.00) i was told sales will phone you back. By 13.45 I rang again as I hadn’t been phones, and got recorded message, now shut till Monday.. What a perfect example of poor customer service. If they told me when I rang, its too late, I would have understood. But now I have to wait till Monday, and see if we can arrange e a viewing. I can only assume they are making so much money, they can ignore potential customers, and respond at their convenience. I just hope this is not an portent of what to expect, if the sale moves forward!!! Update: The Following morning, i received a phone call from David who restored my faith with Stags. He answered all my questions, organised a viewing and apologised for the mistake in regards to lack of communications. So for now, i am more than happy with their service, and besides it’s nearly Xmas so a little tolerance will not go amiss.

GoogleWe tried a very "up market" Estate Agent to sell our property in Torquay, without success. In 2019 we placed it with Stags Torquay and the difference was huge, totally professional staff treated every viewing with importance and we received feedback from every single one within 2 days. Alice at Stags accompanied most of the viewings and found us a buyer in November from which we achieved almost the full asking price. We are happy to say we have now found our new home and it was again purchased through Stags. Competing with two other cash purchasers to pay more than the asking price was not the ideal scenario, but both Matt and Alice acted with the utmost integrity and we exchanged contracts within 7 days. We highly recommend Stags Torquay office and two of our friends are now using them as well.

GoogleFantastic Service A+ - Kevin and Team - Kevin worked with us from the very beginning of selling our father's farm. He listened to our concerns and opinions and we were kept informed and involved at every stage, even if that did mean juggling to keep 3 different people happy. We would highly recommend stags and the Honiton team for anyone looking to sell/purchase their homes.
