We sold our property in Exeter with Stags and have been very happy. We spoke to a good few agents, and not only were we really impressed with James personally, the sale that ensued proved that his price estimate and vending strategy were exactly correct. We received a very high level of interest: Stags carried out all but one viewing, and we were able to secure multiple offers above asking price in a very short period of time. There were complications as we went forward with our chosen buyers, and Stags provided us with solid advice in negotiation/resolution, and we couldn't really fault their effort and communication in bringing things to exchange of contracts. In this latter period, Myles worked alongside James, but the whole office seemed responsive and helpful. In short, we'd recommend this agent. They are a v. professional outfit, got us an excellent price, and clearly had knowledge of our are.

We own a modest 1 bedroom flat and we weren’t sure if Stags would like to deal with the letting of it. However they were keen and Charlie did an exceptional job, preparing the brochure, marketing, booking in and carrying out viewings, dealing with applications for the property with recommendations over a suitable tenant, taking references and then preparing the agreement. The new tenant moved in 10 working days after the first block of viewings. Amazing service from start to finish! We are so grateful to the whole team.

It all began last summer with a straightforward contract with the Stags team to sell a family house. Measurements taken and splendid brochure prepared, ready to go. Then it was discovered the roof had to be replaced! A slight delay perhaps and the property could be on the market early Autumn. Not so, nature intruded bringing months of rain preventing the completion of the new roof. Throughout the winter months we kept in touch with James and Sarah. At last, with a handsome new roof, the property was ready to market in Spring and selling began in earnest with Myles co-ordinating viewings. We were kept informed throughout and after two weeks the property was sold. A shared bumpy experience with an excellent result. Well done Stags!

Nick Smith provided our market appraisal and it was clear, concise and fair. He guided us to an asking price that he believed would attract viewings and that proved to be the case. The support team worked with us to produce photos and a property description that we were happy with and the photographer came back to take a second lot of exterior photos when the weather improved which really helped. Frances Elgar worked as our negotiator. We had an offer for the full asking price shortly after listing but our buyers lost their buyer after two months. Frances worked tirelessly to put the chain back together and engaged with solicitors and the agents in the chain to ensure we finally exchanged. She was always professional, objective and attentive and we were really impressed by how conscientious she was. She listened to our perspective but was not afraid to explain her position and provided extremely helpful advice throughout. We were really impressed by the whole process and highly recommend Nick, Frances and the team at Exeter Stags.
