Do not buy Plot 100, we had the plot reserved from march and it was full of lies. The sales lady could never give us accurate information for basic things like how many solar panels would be on the house. Persimmons then tried to add 4 manhole to our garden and never once told us. They were never able to provide accurate plans for the drainage. After fighting this with our solicitors and lodging a formal complaint they then threatened legal action if we didn’t complete. Lucky we managed to get out of the contract. Stay well clear.

Our experience with this new-build estate has been nothing but stressful and deeply disappointing. From the very beginning, we were misled at almost every step. Promises were made that were later denied, timelines constantly shifted, and important details were either hidden or glossed over. The sales lady in particular was unhelpful, dismissive, and consistently unreliable. Instead of offering support or clarity, she gave us vague answers, incorrect information, and at times outright contradictions to what we had previously been told. It felt like we were being lied to throughout the entire process just to keep us on the hook. Buying a home should be exciting, instead, this has been one of the most frustrating experiences we’ve ever had. I would strongly advise anyone considering this development to proceed with extreme caution.

Terrible Experience with Persimmon Homes Moved into a Persimmon home and it’s been nothing but problems. The shower leaks, the banister is cracked, and despite contacting site managers multiple times, nothing gets sorted. Dirt and stones from the roadworks are constantly hitting one side of my car and chipping the paintwork, yet customer service denied my complaint. I was even told that if I gave them a good rating on their feedback form, they’d be more willing to help with repairs. Completely unprofessional. Several workers I’ve spoken to have nothing good to say about the site managers, and I’ve seen more staff walking off-site than I can count. Avoid Persimmon Homes, cheap materials, poor post-handover service, and terrible management.

My husband and I have purchased a 4 bed house on this development. We had read the mixed reviews on the forums. We haven’t lived in the house long enough to know what issues will arise if any but we had a couple of teething problems which I am pleased to say Persimmon sorted out very swiftly and satisfactorily. Lucinda is absolutely fantastic, she’s always bright, happy and can’t do enough to help. The whole way through our purchase Lucinda was keeping in touch and keeping us updated. Tamsin is also fantastic and telephoned me whenever I had any questions. The reassurance from Tamsin and Lucinda were the main reason we purchased our home. Barry, the site manager is amazing. You only have to mention something to him and he returns with whatever you need and is always on hand to support you. All the builders are friendly and considerate on site. They keep noise and disruption to a minimum. All new homes and sites have issues with varying degrees and you expect this buying a new home.

The roads all around the estate have pot holes. This is a new housing development yet the roads outside the homes quite clearly need filling and sorting
