If you are ok living on a temporary building site then come on down to Swan park. We have had a couple of weeks here in our new house and apart from the snagging list on the 7 days most things ( touch wood) are being completed for us. It's dusty yes but to live in a new house that has never been lived in before is worth it. The builders will be moving on soon to start the build further along the route. Then things will calm down. I am happy with my choice of 3 bedrooms and am glad we have a garage too. A detached house was a good idea so no sound can come through and although the garden is a fraction of the one we left behind, we have to be realistic with maintenance. I would recommend Louise or Pauline to talk with inside the sales office.

Lovely home inside but not enough garage space and terribly overlooked. Very helpful staff

Malvern Rise - Just had my demo with the site manager for my new home built by Persimmon Homes, and I have to say what a beautiful build it is. I was not expecting such a high quality of build and finishing touches, even though I went with standard finishes they are of a very high quality indeed. I was also very impressed with the heating system installed and the odd little safety extras within the home that come standard. Very well done Persimmon, I am very excited and looking forward to moving in soon :) Update now moved in. Again the house is beautiful, very pleased with it apart from the expected snagging. Only issues are with the Persimmon customer service team, they are shocking!!!! False promises and untimely repairs . I don't think ill be buying from them again

- Great sales team, beautiful location and style of property. One of the site managers is friendly and helpful and lots of our initial snags were fixed in the first year. Hence the 2 stars. - After-care is an incredibly stressful experience. If you buy, get a snag report done asap and be prepared to remind them about the outstanding jobs until you're blue in the face. Lots of false promises from Customer Care. - Don't move anything from your 7-day snag form to the 30-day, as this will release your retention fee to the builder. Once they've got it, they don't seem to care much about completing everything in a reasonable time frame. - It feels like there is cost-cutting and rushing to build. Look for variations in your build that aren't design changes noted on your plans as they may well signify a piece of work that is missed or incomplete. This could be something as basic as a vent in the brick or roof tiles for bathroom extractor fans. There are a number of properties without these, suggesting the moisture may be going into the attic like ours is.

We’ve recently moved into a persimmon property and have been very impressed with our new house and the customer service we’ve received. Jo, Mary and Jayne have been amazing and can’t thank them enough
