GoogleThe team at Gascoigne Halman, Holmes Chapel are excellent. Stephanie, Sarah and Kate have gone above and beyond our expectations in the sale of the property. They chased all parties to ensure the chain operated as efficiently as they could. They have often gone the extra mile to ensure others have met deadlines. They do not let their frustrations with the lack of progress by, and lack of quality of, others work to affect their own professionalism. They have proved to be honest and trustworthy throughout. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone selling a property.

GoogleRude unhelpful, paid a £1000 deposit on a new build flat in good faith. The mortgage company wouldn't lend against it. No interest in helping get the money back from the developer.

Dear Mr Thomas, I am sorry if you feel that we have been unhelpful in your recent dealings with Gascoigne Halman. The terms of the reservation are set by the developer and were fully disclosed to you upon entering into the agreement to purchase. I am sorry that we were unable to get the developer to change their terms for you, however, I do feel that help was offered several times with regards to placing you with a more suitable lender based on yours and the apartments specification. We have a fantastic team of financial advisors who could have guided you through the process and should you ever wish to use their services in the future I would be happy to help you find another suitable apartment. GoogleScum of the earth. Almost put me off getting my dream home with there charges etc. They wanted 60.00 from to phone my land lord. Also charged us 600 quid just for admin and credit checks when we moved in. Avoid at all costs

GoogleIf you think gazuping is an unethical act then don't deal with Marcus Jolleys. In our case we had an offer accepted on a property and Marcus Jolleys contacted another interested buyer without any instruction from the seller and instigated the gazuping of our offer. Not a man with any integrity. Buyers beware

GoogleBad experience as a tenant. They will charge a lot on any chance they get and they care only for owners. I've left 1 month without a stove after a gas leak and many other problems.

GoogleDon't bother cleaning your house. You will not get back your deposit anyway. Stayed for 3 years, left the house clean and tidy. Wear and tear became a reason to turn down our deposit claim. Unique estate agency.

GoogleFantastic service from start to finish. Alison has been amazing and made renting our new house a doddle. Sat down with us and helped us work out what we were looking for. Then when we wanted a property she got on the phone and secured it with the landlord for us immediately. She's then been there when we've rung with questions every step of the way - always very friendly and helpful. The final thing was a mistake made on the website as to what the property had in it - I called up and it was sorted to a perfectly satisfactory solution within hours without any pushing or pestering at all. Could not fault these guys and if we ever move (not that i want to!!) i have no doubt i would look specifically for property with these guys. Thanks so much :)

GoogleAll the staff at the Whaley Bridge office, headed by Lorraine Batty, were highly competent and helpful when asked to sell my late mother's property. They took care of everything and the sale went through smoothly and efficiently. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.

GoogleI booked a viewing for a property the day before for 9.30am. I was told I'd be contacted to confirm this booking. I arrived for 9.30am and did not see the agent. I then had to call the company to find out that the letting agent did not want a 6 month tenancy. This was at 9.32am I should not have to contact the company to find this out! I should have been contacted the day before!

Someone was always available to answer our questions however trivial. GoogleAbsolutely poor service from top to bottom. I rented from them and when I left. they put a claim on my deposit even after the checkout inventory did not highlighted any issues. It took them almost a month to make up their mind on what claims to put through DPS. I got all my deposit back after my case was referred to ADR almost 3 months after my tenancy ended. I am thinking this kind of practice would put a lot of strain on family’s who’s deposit they claim upon and surely anyone in need of money would give in to greedy agents making false claims. I rented from many agent never faced any problem like this. I can surely say with regards Gascoigne and Halman. Don’t rent from them and if you do make sure checkin inventory is thoroughly checked and do necessary amendment within 7 days ( Gascogne Halman says amendments should reach them within 48hrs). And lastly Msg for Rebecca where is duty of care towards your tenants and looking after their interests, tenants are your customers and if they don’t rent from you, your wage will not be paid, unless you have get commission or bonus to successfully claim from deposits.
