We recently sold and bought a house using the Frodsham office. We met with 3 local estate agents before deciding who to use and we chose Gascgoine Halman Frodsham as they had the most local knowledge and were the easiest branch to get in touch with.As is often the case, the whole house move process was quite lengthy and frustrating. But Tracy in particular helped us out with advice, chasing up solicitors and helping to keep on top of the process. I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon, but if I did I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.

FacebookAfter leaving my rented property in May, i still have not received my deposit back. It took me over 2 days to clean the place before moving in, and i made sure the place was better than i found it when leaving. Yet the landlady refused to sign off my deposit and i got Zero help from Gascoigne... the land lady walk in on the flat without notice, once whilst i was stuck down with covid, and you wasn't allowed to visit people. Now i am left to chase MY money back. Avoid these guys, they do not help when help is required.

We have recently finalised the sale of our house, and purchase of our next (of which the sale side was dealt with by Gascoingn Halman). We would like to particularly thank Dominic from the Sales office in Wilmslow for all his help during the process - he was absolutely the reason why everything ran smoothly and most importantly ran to time. Though we have bought a house previously, this was our first time buying and selling at the same time and Dominic was fantastic at guiding & advising us each step of the way and always on hand for our questions. Dominic was also particularly great with coordinating all the moving parts and knew who to call and when to get things moving, and seeming never hesitate to do so on our behalf, we are extremely grateful. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to use his services again! We would also thoroughly recommend Gascoign Halman Wilmslow too - though we primarily dealt with Dominic, all other colleagues at the Wilmslow office we spoke to during the process were extremely helpful.

GoogleI cannot recommend Gascoigne Halman Poynton highly enough. We were initially impressed with them following a house viewing where Owen showed us round. He was really knowledgeable and generous with his time whereas other Estate Agent viewings left us feeling rushed and with questions unanswered. After the viewing I decided that they displayed the qualities I wanted for my own house sale when it went on the market and I wasn’t disappointed. The whole journey from start to finish was fantastic. All the team, without exception, were an absolute pleasure to deal with and made what was sometimes a stressful experience much more bearable. Owen deserves a special mention of his own though, he’s simply amazing. I’m hoping we’re now in our forever home, but if not, we’d definitely use them again!

GoogleCompleted my purchase of the property in Altrincham in June 2021 during busy times with stamp duty holiday and Covid etc. - although the property purchase took much longer than expected but this was not due to Gascoign Halman team at Altrincham office. Full marks to the GH team for responsiveness and trying to chase the other side and closing out the matters. Will use again, thanks to Kate S for finding us the right property, Adam to agree the price, Kate M to follow up with most of the process and then Mike at the end to push it over the line. Thanks to all and will use the service again.
One thing that could be improved as a suggestion is to be liaise with both the buyer and seller in regards to setting some timescales and targets to achieve and then monitor those to make sure that sales are completed within timeframe.
