I don't normally give reviews for anything but I have just sold my house through Enfields and I am so happy with their service that I thought it was important to share my experience for anyone else looking to sell their home. In terms of valuing the house, Jonathan didn't try to low ball us for a quick sale and actually valued the house higher than two other agents. His valuation was spot on which was proven when it came to agreeing the price on our house with the buyer. Had we gone with the other valuations provided we would have ultimately lost money. The idea of having viewings in our house whilst living there seemed very daunting at first but Jonathan gave us lots of really good advice about what was important and not so important in getting ready for these. I believe that this advice resulted in a very quick offer that we accepted. The viewings and negotiations were handled by Jack and we found it really helpful to have one single point of contact for this as he became very familiar with our house and what we were hoping to achieve. For every single viewing we were consulted about a time that was convenient for us without any pressure or feeling that we needed to work around the agents schedule. It was clear that Jack was very experienced and provided useful feedback on each viewing. When the offer was accepted we were then taken through the second phase by Rachael who was absolutely amazing! There were some challenges with the house that we were buying through another agent but Rachael was able to keep the whole chain together and was willing to speak with all solicitors, other agents and even vendors in the chain that weren't her responsibility. Rachael kept us updated almost daily and was always so lovely and helpful to talk to that I looked forward to our chats and it felt like I had a friend guiding me through what could have been a very stressful process. I want to thank the Enfields team for such a high quality and personal service and highly recommend them if you are looking to sell your home!

We recently sold our house with Enfields Poole. From start to finish we received such a high standard of care and professionalism, we worked with Jack who kept us continuously up to date throughout the whole process and ensured the whole process was smooth. Jack provided invaluable insights and guidance on preparing our property for sale; he had great knowledge of the surrounding areas of Poole. We really appreciated Jacks regular updates, as a seller it can be a bit anxiety provoking waiting to hear back from viewers but Jack always reassured us and would give us feedback so we never felt like we were waiting. This was the same when we were in the process of selling too. I truly believe that without Jack we would not have gotten the price we did for our house. Enfields Poole totally exceeded our expectations and I have already recommended them to all of our friends and family.

A big warning for Guarantor’s due to…

A big warning for Guarantor’s due to the lack of communication from Endfield’s we had a £7,000 bill to pay. We did not receive the numerous emails they claim to have sent advising us of rent arrears. The Landlord established they had our email address wrong, despite us setting up the tenancy agreement by email. Endields’s stated that they were not aware that our emails were being undelivered due to their system problems. Apparently they do not send letters in the post or telephone Guarantor’s when there is a problem. They would not take responsibility for any of the debt and dealt with the situation with a considerable lack of empathy. We did not even receive an apology for their error, or poor practice.

Students Beware

It your son or daughter is a student please tell them to beware before renting from Enfields. If you want to be left without hot water and heating for weeks in the middle of December, if you want to live in a house with mice and lots of problems that Enfields refused to help with rent from them. If you want to be told to call the Council they might help you to get the landlord to sort out repairs - basically fobbing you off rent with with them. Finally when you move out if you want your deposit to be held back and be lied to rent through them. If you are considering renting through Enfields just remember as a family run business they will stick together and will not help you. They will constantly blame the landlord when the landlord is oblivious to what is going on. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recent email sent to Enfields: Thankfully the Independent adjudicator largely sided with us in recovering our deposit after you attempted to essentially steal from us. From baseless claims we owed rent, to attempting to charge us heinous amount of money to change a battery and generally doing your upmost to not implement the wishes of the two parties who actually mattered in the contract from the outset, us and the property owner. Off the back of this outcome, we are making a report to Nation Trading Standards Estate and Letting Agency team. Whether these actions are deemed to have breached a code of conduct, we’ll let them decide but they are certainly unethical. The deposit protection scheme was established to protect tenants from bad landlords stealing deposit money, not something I would expect from a major estate agent. At this stage, the money isn’t even a priority to us, ensuring we have done everything possible to report Enfields and do whatever we can to prevent you from doing this to anyone else is our current motivation. These actions were clearly a business hoping to prey on people who need the money as quick as possible and would be happy to get back whatever they can from the deposit, you wanted us to agree to all of these costs hoping we had a weakness. Sadly, you may have come across weaker minded Individuals in the past who believed everything you said and coughed up money for “unpaid rent” and whatever else you have fabricated, it’s those I feel sorry for. You’re a liar Sarah, no other way to put it. Enfields, as a collective, are some of the most servile, proletariat, sycophantic individuals we have ever had to deal with. We envy people who have not had the displeasure of having to deal with you. From the moment our initial contract was signed, to the point we were fortunate to move on, largely every member of staff we ever dealt with were some of the worst interactions we have ever experienced. Enfields treated us like scum from the outset, including not fixing mould issues you yourself identified in house viewings (all with an infant living in the property) to attempting to laud over us at the end of our tenancy and many other items in between. We pity anyone who has the misfortune of having to deal with you in the future. Ps. For anyone cc’d who may actually care how their business is being run in their name, I have every snooty email I was ever sent, I have correspondence from the landlord echoing my sentiments saved as well as all the snooty text messages I was sent from various staff whilst I had to deal with you, I obviously won’t hold my breath, but it’s there. Emily was our estate agent and was absolutely amazing. First appointment with her we had a great experience, tunes in the car, and really helpful and informative. Unfortunately weren’t able to secure the house we wanted. But she rescheduled another appointment 2 days later and we found the yard of our dreams!!!
