I have used the Enfield Town
I have used the Enfield Town office since 2002 to manage the letting of my propery. I have always found them to be very helpful, friendly and professional. Nadia relates well with the tennants, immediately addresses any problems with the property and informs us of any issues. They have always achieved a good rental income for the property, taken up the appropriate references and avoided any vacant periods between tennants. I have no hesitation in recommending the company to any other landords/landladies.

I am currently in the process of buying a house locally from this agent. I have dealt solely with the Sales Manager, Damien Ellison, and I have found him very helpful, knowledgeable, and professionally competent.

I have been renting from Ellis in Willesden Green for last 2 years and its been very good experience, starting from top service from Peter and Damien during the time when we were moving in and also later dealing with everyday issues with Katie and Margaret.I would recommend this particular branch especially if you had bad experiences with other agencies.

An agent who actually seems
An agent who actually seems to care! We're really happy with Damien Ellison (and Sam) at Ellis & Co and would recommend them to anyone. We instructed them to sell our property because having met them when we went to view a property they were selling we were really impressed with their approach. We've dealt with quite a few agents over the years including three of the “big†estate agents for NW2 and Ellis & Co are the only ones we don't feel like we're being bull****ted by! We're a young family and they appreciate this and always give us plenty of notice of viewings. They're straightforward, open and never pushy!

I am more than happy with the service provided by Damien and co. I would happily recommend them to anyone with confidence of their outstanding service. Both our property's were difficult to sell for many reasons, one being that they where both HMO's. However Damien and colleagues all ways went the extra mile! They were all ways quick to come back but never pushy. I all ways feel perfectly at ease, confident and safe with them. No point has been overlooked and I am all ways confident with the decisions I make with them. Their prices are more than fair, and I would indeed have been happy to pay more for their outstanding service. Damien and co have all ways been honest and upfront, and all ways pushed for the best for us as clients. I have dealt with other estate agents (big names) and all ways felt like they say anything to get their part of the sale. This is however not the case with Damien and co and I have all ways felt they want to do the best for you as a client. And I have never been bounced around the “middle men†constantly having to re-explain situations like I have had to do with every other company. Their down to earth and "real", plain talking, honest, and thorough and if more companies worked like this the world would be a better place.

I had a choice of Estate Agents I could of used to sell two properties for me, both were in need of work and both had tenants, it was however Damien who gave me the confidence that he could do the job. Damien has been extremely professional and has help me endlessly. He has been available throughout the whole experience, and has managed to secure both sales quickly and at the prices I was looking for. Damien has a very friendly and helpful approach and nothing is too much trouble to him. I have felt like I am in safe hands and know I made the right choice in choosing him, I would be confident to recommend him in the future. Damien goes the extra mile to make sure every effort is made to obtain the right price, he is also there to help with any problems along the way. Outstanding service and that really says a lot these days, you feel like you are the only one on his books that can only show great customer care.

DO NOT USE THIS AGENT. I was
DO NOT USE THIS AGENT. I was a buyer keen to buy a property and had everything in place along with a 25% deposit and an agreed mortgage. I wanted to move my initial viewing and asked it to be at 12 instead of 5. I was at work and very keen for this to happen which was conveyed as being "pushy". I made a good offer which was rejected and then a higher offer which was also rejected. It was only 5k below the asking so I asked what the problem was and if they wanted to sell their house. When I called not only did Damien inform me he was "on his lunch"(!!!!) but he didn't call back for an hour and a half and then sent me an email informing me they didn't want to sell me their house or go forward with any further negotiations. Why? At this point the only information they had was through Damien (who had never met me!!). I had never even met Damien and for him to convey incorrect information to the vendor and to do himself out of a sale like this is utterly unforgivable. I am a very personable and trustworthy individual in an extremely strong buying position. I lost my perfect home and am completely gutted. Please don't allow yourself to be treated the same way and steer clear of this agent. I will be making a formal complaint.
Dear Miss Stark, We have attempted to help you with your ‘complaints’ using fully transparent protocol set in place to deal with such issues as this and these procedures have been explained to you in order to facilitate an agreeable solution to your particular problem. We are keen to help you with this matter but unfortunately it seems to us that, so far, you are not as prepared as we are to seek an amicable conclusion to it. We do not wish to publically battle with you, but feel the points that you have raised and published in the Public domain on this web site must be addressed and will be if you are prepared to follow it through correctly and politely in a manner accepted by all professional Agents and therefore provide a much clearer picture to members of the Public reading your review and thus ensuring that the correct facts pertaining to your version of events are available to them. As already discussed with you, we do have a complaints procedure if you wish to raise an official complaint. You can contact Claire Kingsford, our Franchise Field Manager for Ellis and Co on 07738 648 584 or claire.kingsford@xperience.co.uk. In response to the accusations that have made and for the benefit of the public who have read your comments, we would like to clarify a few points; • Your initial appointment that was booked 5pm could not be changed to 11/11.30am as requested due to the extremely short notice that you gave. As explained to you, my client has two young children that we need to work around. The sellers request that they have several hours notice in order to present their property immaculately for viewings. While a viewing takes place, they take the children out to allow us to do our job. When this was explained to you, you showed no understanding of my clients position and circumstances, and had even questioned if they were serious in selling. When my colleague explained that you still had your 5pm appointment on the telephone, you hung up on him. It was only explained approximately 1hour later that you were with your employer and had to hang up. With not actually knowing if you intended to view this property or not, we spoke to our client and explained what had happened. He then decided to cancel the appointment as he did not want to disrupt his young children if we could not be sure if you were attending. After a telephone conversation a few hours later, you were booked in to see the property the following day. • Your first offer of £325,000 was rejected by my client. Not only was this offer not high enough, my client questioned your reliability as a buyer because you had already displayed, what our Client considered, were unreliable characteristics before you had even seen the property. He doubted your performance if a sale had been agreed. Yes, you did submit an offer of £335,000, which was made directly to our client when you presented yourself at his property in the evening, unannounced, trying to make him change his mind regarding you as a buyer. He explained to you that he wasn’t interested in dealing with you directly and that you had to contact via ourselves in the usual accepted manner. This office has not received any formal offer of £335,000. This office was contacted, by whom we can only presume was your father, offering a sum above the asking price, £355,000. Although our clients had already confirmed in writing that they were not to be contacted and informed of any offer made by you or anyone on your behalf, we had a very detailed telephone conversation with them confirming your good position as a buyer and that you had agreed to move as quickly/slowly as they may have wanted in an attempt to secure some form of acceptance and agreement from them. Unfortunately, their views regarding your reliability still remained the same and the offer of £355,000 was rejected. • As you have mentioned, when you called our office at approximately 14:20 on 16th February 2012 the member of staff dealing with this issue was away from his desk having lunch and it was confirmed to you that he would call you back. We are not entirely sure what relevance this has regarding any complaint being made where a member of staff has a break and indeed something to eat?? You were emailed at 15:45 that day apologising for the delay in replying to you and the situation was fully explained in that same email. We would add that at this time all communications between yourself and our office were by email so that all communications were correctly documented. • You were perfectly correct, when your appointment was cancelled by our Client you had not met the staff member dealing with this issue, however, all opinions regarding your suitability as a buyer were based on your attitude, behaviour and communications with our office during this time. We would like to point out that we work for our Client and our Client only who instructed us to provide a thorough, professional sales service. We do not work for buyers or represent them in any way that is outside of Industry or professional standards or indeed bound by Acts of Parliament. Yours Sincerely, Damien M. Ellison Sales Manager

Damien provided an excellent service and support both before the let was arranged for our daughter and afterwards to ensure any issues identified were taken care of. He even followed up with visits to check out equipment and service problems and have them taken care of. A massive improvement on our previous experience. Regards Stan Reid

It is always a pleasure to work with the team at Ellis & Co on conveyancing matters. Their experienced team help to provide clear communication between the parties so the exchange of contracts and completion proceed without a hitch. This has certainly been key on matters we have worked together on. I have no reservation whatsoever in recommending the team to anyone or any company. The sales team are extremely helpful. When I first started looking, I wasn't too sure what exactly it was that I wanted. They sat me down, and asked me for my key requirements. I was shown two different style properties within my price range, which actually helped me decide what type of property I wanted. A great service, and friendly staff.

My Partner and I have just
My Partner and I have just agreed a sale on our property through the Willesden Green office. When we decided that we wanted to move, we invited three agents round to value our flat, one of those being Ellis & Co. I found them to be very professional, honest and down to earth. They sat us down, and asked us what we wanted. What our expectations of an agent were, then they started to explain the service the provided. This really impressed me as I had never really thought about it from that angle before. I had always thought about the best valuation and the cheapest fee. During the valuation, we were told that we should expect offers within the first 4-6 weeks of being on the market. We were on the market for 18 days when we accepted the offer that we were happy with. I'm very impressed! It's still early days yet, but fingers crossed the sale goes through as smoothly as possible. I'll keep you all posted!

Natalie and all the team at
Natalie and all the team at the Branch were helpful and provided sound advice throughout the process. Natalie was proactive and in touch throughout to ensure that the sale went through. What we appreciated was that they took our requestes with regards to the viewings into consideration and when an offer came they had a sensible and realistic approach to ensure that the buyers expectations and our expectations were realistically met to ensure a successful outcome.

This office were fantastic. I
This office were fantastic. I must admit, we were on the market with another agent at first but were very disatisfied with the level of service that we were receiving. We spoke to Damien who arranged an appointment immediately to see our property. He gave us some sound advice and pointed out where we were going wrong. We felt very confident in him and the office, so instructed them right away. Through out the whole process, we were given feedback after every viewing. And Damien was always trying to come up with new ideas and different ways of trying make our property stand out. Eventually we agreed a sale which Damien negotiated on extremely well, achieving £25,000 more than the initial offer. I would HIGHLY recommend this office as I know too well, they always provide a top service! Well done guys.

We had a visit from each of the estate agents in Stanmore when deciding to sell the property. The reason we chose on Ellis & Co was Natalie Shachar, she appeared honest and interested in working for us. This carried on throughout the process and resulted in a succesful sale, completed and moved four months later.

We have been searching for a property to rent for months and have dealt with agents from many different companies. There have been situations where agents never returned our call, or booked us for a viewing but didn't turn up (!), or kept pushing properties to us that were beyond our budget. We finally managed to acquire one with the help of Tommy from the Stanmore branch of Ellis. This being the first time we have rented a property in the UK, he has been very helpful and patient with our million-and-one questions, he did not rush us about with the viewings, he was very prompt with replying our emails, and we could reach him even in the evenings and over the weekend. We are more than satisfied with the level of professionalism and efficiency that Tommy has provided.

Following a personal
Following a personal recommendation, I gave my flat to Ellis & Co, the Willesden Green office, quite a few years ago now and their service has been superb. The place has been empty only a few days in the whole time they have had it and it has been really well looked after by a succession of excellent professional tenants. I can highly recommend them to any potential landlord as you will be very well looked after.

We had a very good experience
We had a very good experience with Ellis and Co. The process of our offer and acceptance was quick and it was always pleasant dealing with Natalie. We arranged several viewings with builders and family members and the agents were always accommodating. We asked many questions about the property and a piece of land adjoining the property and Natalie always responded promptly with answers from the vendor.

I have used the Willesden
I have used the Willesden Green office for over 10 years to manage my portfolio of rented properties and I can honestly say I couldn't exist without them. I have enjoyed having a massive amount of stress taken away by their profficient and professional management team. I seriously worry about nothing as my interests are always first and foremost, top rents achieved, void periods are kept to a minimum and maintenance issues dealt with quickly to ensure happy tenants and well looked after properties. One of the best decisions I have ever made. I wouldn't dream of using any other agent in the area and cannot recommend them more highly to other Landlords who may not be getting the level of service they expect or are paying for.

This email is a testimonial
This email is a testimonial for the performance of Ellis & Co, of 29 Walm Lane, Willesden Green and in particular Damien Ellison, Sales Manager of the office. He has been the key person in acting for my brother and I, as well as our nieces and nephew who reside in Bahamas, to sell our deceased mother's Willesden. Damien has put an enormous effort to perform his duties as agent acting for us, in a very difficult situation and in a difficult market managed to find a purchaser. He has regularly updated my brother in London, my nieces and nephew in Bahamas and myself, living in Sydney in Australia. I would not hesitate to recommend Damien Ellison, together with Ellis & Co, should the opportunity arise, (when I'm in London,) and I, on behalf of the family, thank him for his honest and fair approach to the sale.
