Excellent service from Rebecca Oglesby at ChartersDuring a difficult period in the property market where trying to find the ideal home was nearly impossible, Rebecca came to our rescue.Rebecca provided us with up to date market analysis and understood our requirements so we weren’t just having any house put in front of us. Awful. Don't be fooled by their flashy website and fancy offices. These guys turned up with prospective viewers at my rented flat with no notice and then phoned ostensibly to 'apologise' - in fact, to tell me further booking were scheduled with less than 24 hours notice in violation of the lease.Be warned also that in 2022 they took over the portfolio and staff of St Moores Lettings, which were one of the worst estate agents in Southampton. This company lied about major problems with properties in order to tenants to get them to sign tenancies, didn't fix things in the flat properly and were generally rude, unhelpful and money-grubbing. As such, be extremely wary if renting a property from Charters that was formerly managed by St Moores as there will almost certainly be serious issues with it.

Charters, Romsey were excellent.

I dealt with the Romsey office of Charters to find a new property to rent in the New Forest. I mainly dealt with Tracey but had dealings with other members of the team and found them all to be extremely helpful and supportive.The service in general was excellent and as the CEO of an International business employing many staff I can only speak extremely highly of the team at Charters, Romsey and would definitely recommend them, as my wife's and my experience was very positive. Charters is really the ONLY Estate agents to buy and sell your property through if you want a smooth process. Moving house is stressful enough which is why it is vital to have someone like Tom Harper guiding you through the whole process.
