Me and my Partner have recently started our journey with Charters. So far the experience has been amazing. We have had the pleasure of Chloe Bowers from the Bitterne office helping us and she has made the experience super easy, as the first property we wanted to view ended up being let, but she came to us with another property to view which was in a slightly different building but what we were looking for. We decided that one wasn’t for us due to circumstances out of Chloe’s hands but within a day or two Chloe had another property that matched what we were looking for and this is this property we have now gone for. After my husband died I signed up with Charters to help me move from East Sussex to the Alresford area to be closer to my daughter and grandchildren. My daughter had bought her property through Charters and from day one I found everyone, particularly Fred and Ryan, very professional, kind and pro-active. They understood exactly the type of property, location and, most important of all, the setting I wanted and although the property I’m now in the process of buying is registered with another agent, which is a great shame, the level of regular contact from Fred was exceptional. I cannot recommend Charters highly enough.

Don't trust this company. I booked a viewing and nobody turned up to show me and my mother the property! They then denied all knowledge of me arranging a viewing, despite me having a call log of when I did. As potential customers, it has now made us both wary of using Charters in the future.

I have moved home several times in my life and I can honestly say that the service that I received from Charters at Alresford made this one of the best experiences. They were helpful, swift and obviously knew the local market intimately. Despite putting my property on the market in October, not the best time to sell, I had exchanged contracts by the 28th of November. This was entirely due to the effort by Charters both in the advertising and the negotiation over the sale. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of either selling or buying in the Alresford area. Attempts to truly understand the viewers requirements

Sam tries to get int to the mindset and requirements of the prospective purchaser and to really understand what they are looking for. He is excellent at building a rapport with the prospective purchaser and asks the right questions to really get into the nuts and bots of their requirements and cuts through the chat to their issues and assessments of properties. He gives the prospective purchaser time to really look at a property without talking too much. He is punctual which is particularly good when one has other houses to see. He is informative and honest about Alresford and he knows his way around the town's organisations. He is polite and patent. And I am sure he is going to find the right house for me very soon!
