The Winchester branch of Charters has been dealing with our house sale. We have had great communication with the team and helpful feedback. Alice Mackonochie in their sales team has been particularly helpful, and Oliver Purvis, director, has made sure that everything has gone smoothly. They have taken the 'stress'out of selling!

I recently booked viewings of a few rental properties with Charters, Samuel Scott was my agent. Sam was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the houses I visited. He found the perfect place for me and helped me through the process of finalising the contract, which was not straightfwd as I still live abroad. I will most definitely go back to Charters and to Sam for my future housing needs.

A really helpful team, nothing was too much trouble for them. They searched diligently for a suitable property for us. On this occasion they were unsuccessful, but it was not for the want of trying. Fred, Charlie and Rebecca were helpful, never rushed us and even dog sat whilst on one viewing. A very likeable and efficient team.

From start to finish, Charters have been amazing in helping us purchase our first home. Everyone is the sales office was super friendly and eager to help. We dealt with the Bishops Waltham branch and everyone involved was extremely professional and helpful. Their sales progressor Stephen Henry was a great help and was always there when we needed something or wanted to ask many, many questions! I can't recommend them enough!

Firstly the process to search for properties was very precise with the information provided about the property and the pictures. Secondly, the booking viewing was a very smooth process with catch up call and arrangements of more than one property to view within the vicinity of our search. Thirdly, Sarah Bainbridge facilitated our viewing she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas of our interest and very efficiently showed us each property very patiently she also drove us to each property since we had kids and made the viewing process very easy for us. Fourthly, she organised our referencing very effortlessly. I would highly recommend using charter estate agents if your looking for you next property. Overall it was a 10/10 for us.

Terrible communication, say they will call back then dont, they all sound very confused in the letting department and have often asked me for the same information numerous times to be passed on - then when I call back (because no one calls me back) they ask all over again, just avoid! Plenty other good agents to use - Shannon & Simon at Romsey have been horrendous!
We are very sorry that you are disappointed with the service received from Charters lettings team. We cannot find a Kerry registered with us and so if you would like to contact us directly we would be very happy to look in to your complaint (marketing@chartersestateagents.co.uk), however your situation sounds very similar to that of a family group currently looking with us. If that is the case then because different family members where speaking with numerous staff members in different offices, with contradicting requirements and offering on multiple properties, it was agreed that it would be best that there was just one point of contact with one staff member which we have implemented to hopefully enable a satisfactory outcome.

TrustpilotViewing properties online is no substitute for a good agent
Storme conducted a viewing of a high value property which had recently returned to the market, the chain having collapsed. We were suspicious of the reasons behind the other buyer pulling out and also concerned that the property was slightly out of our search area. Storme did a great job reassuring us and pointing out features of the property that would make it an excellent family home. We made an offer, which was accepted.
