Challenging market conditions and early stages of generating interest & getting viewings arranged was ok, but not brilliant. Communication over the longer than hoped for period on sale could have been much better, however, after an offer had been formalised (well below guide price suggested) follow up process and communications were excellent and very responsive.

Charters have been absolutely fabulous to deal with. To give you a bit of background, we were with another agent and sadly had 2 sales fall through with them. We decided that enough was enough and called charters to bring them onto the sale. We first spoke with Jonathan who was so helpful and agreed that they could help us with our sale. We had an appointment booked in with them within a couple of days and Toby came around to our property to give a valuation and chat. He was really great and answered all of our queries! From the very beginning, there was no messing about and they marketed our property very promptly in line with our expectations. We were very anxious as we had a new build property reserved and we only had a short timescale to re-sell our property before the developer would release our plot for resale. We were always continually updated with the progress of our viewings by Toby, Erickson & Jonathan to keep our minds at rest. If we could give 10 stars for their service, we absolutely would. Great experience with the team at the Avenue, Southampton. Arranging viewings was quick and easy and able to be arranged via email, which was really useful for us. Once we found the property that fitted us they made the offer process easy and dealt professionally with our slightly odd questions and requests! We dealt with Ned and Kevin, both were helpful and knowledgeable and responded to queries quickly. We are new to the area and they were able to put us in touch with surveyors and solicitors as well as give advice in the area. Our purchase is now progressing and I have every confidence that things will run smoothly!
