My partner and I have experienced a rollercoaster of a year; being forced to sell our beloved home owing the skyrocketing interest rates and then facing the tortuous task of finding another house. After several disappointments (including one failed sale and three failed purchases), we located a beautiful home, marketed by Charters. From the moment we contacted them (Bishops Waltham branch) to request a viewing to the point we exchanged contracts (this week!), the staff at Charters have been nothing but professional, understanding and compassionate. They appreciated the stresses we were under and bent over backwards to expedite the process. Really grateful for everything they’ve done for us. Their input has really made it that much more bearable. Thank you Charters.

Dealing with Charters Estate agents has been very easy. They were very quick to get the brochure ready and very quick to make the changes we wanted and to redo some of the photos we thought less than ideal. Once we were happy they put the details on line that day. We were fully informed of all 22 visits, some repeats . Once two offers were made we were happy to select the buyer with the information they had gathered about the financial situation of each. The offers were below the asking price but we were expecting that having been prewarned by Charters. The offer agreed is what we hoped for. Putting the house on the market for that price, as suggested by another estate agent, would most probably have resulted in a lower offer. The house sale could not be completed until probate granted and Charters kindly offered to keep an eye on the empty house for us until the keys were exchanged on the 30th January. All in all my sister and I were very happy with the support they gave us, particularly as neither of us live near.

Efficient, friendly and knowledgeable

I needed quite a specific rental property, and Ash at Charters was professional and proactive in helping me secure the right place, particularly asking the landlord if he'd accept a pet. Ash guided me through all the steps I needed to follow and was friendly and communicative throughout. I have deducted one star because Charters uses Vouch to check tenant credentials and this system let me down, unable to handle my self-employed and savings status in a real "computer says no" scenario. This is unrelated to Ash's excellent service.

Amazing service from Storme at Park Gate. From the beginning Storme was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable and she always kept me informed of any progress.
