My new Lettings agreement was dealt with by Sophie Pickering at the Charters Southampton Office Team. From start to finish she has been nothing but helpful and after speaking with around five different estate agents before making contact, I knew straight away after my call was answered that this would be dealt with the best and most efficiently. She proved to be very friendly and able to provide accurate information about some of the properties we wished to view. A big thank you to Simon Edser and Charters. I have know “Mr Chilworth “ as Simon is known locally for 35 years since he helped me look for a home in the area. Over the years he’s always been exceptionally professional in every aspect, never getting frustrated if what he presented wasn’t quite my ideal. I am indebted to him as he presented to me an opportunity to buy off plan one of the finest houses in Chilworth way before any other agent had a sniff of the opportunity and whilst it was still just a tree filled plot. I went into contract and despite the long wait of 18 months I have indeed achieved ownership of one of the finest Chilworth homes. Thank you Simon your local knowledge and contacts are unique and have brought me my special home.

GoogleAvoid taking their recommended solicitors, Dutton Gregory, if you're using Charters for a property transaction. Currently progressing a complaint with these cowboy conveyancers after 4 defects have been reported on the leasehold of a property I'm currently selling, which Dutton Gregory handled the purchase of back in 2019 and completely missed the issues or gave me wrong advice. The icing on the cake is their complaints procedure is just as poor as their conveyancing service.
