Never ever use this company they cannot be trusted,we were bidding on a property at the time,we were promised to be contacted ,yet let us hang onto the phone & never did contact us.I located the owner myself only to find it had been sold never ever use them they cannot be trusted!!!!!

It seems that you were a late entry into a 'Best & Final' multiple offer scenario, (you having advised us that you had just lost out in a very similar process elsewhere). All applicants were treated equally and fairly, but unfortunately your proposal was not acceptable to our client. I had been looking for a house for over a year. Charters have been fantastic and Nony knew exactly what type of house was for me and contacted me each time one came on sale. I ended up with a new built, and all the sales team has been extraordinary, extremely professional and thorough in everything. Nony, Fiona, Leanne. Concomitantly, I let the flat I was moving out of and the lettings team was and is very reliable. They quickly found a tenant and the whole of Charters, sales and lettings,worked together to make my move smooth. Charters have been incredibly friendly and supportive. The best service ever; I highly recommend them.

Having never sold a house before and needing to do it from a distance of 200 miles, I was apprehensive to say the least! However thanks to Charters' efficiency at every stage of the sale, the process has been painless. I cannot praise Charters highly enough, the whole team were marvellous. Not only did they sell my house quickly, they got a good price for it, they kept me informed of progress, keeping in touch with both the buyers and also both sets of solicitors to keep the process moving. It is very stressful at the best of times, but when you have been in the house a long time (nearly 25 years) it is also painful leaving behind so many memories. Having said that, without the team at Charters I am not sure the sale would have been completed. I thoroughly recommend them.

Having had experience with a few of the more 'Old School' agents in Winchester and indeed Alresford, we were so pleased to have found Charters. An agent that actually seems to want to help you find a property and calls and chases you rather than the other way round! I'm pretty sure the staff there never sleep and must work 7 days a week as they are always on hand! A big THANK YOU to the team. We will not hesitate to recommend you :0)

We bought a house through Charters and from the initial viewing through to the completion they couldn't have been more customer focused. We needed to view the property multiple times, they arranged this with the owner and obliged each and every time. They supported us through the negotiations, and provided us with access to useful services during the move, such as an excellent removal company. They are professional, accessible and supportive. It is a stressful process and they helped by accommodating all our requirements. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to friends and colleagues.

My rented house has unstable hot water supply to the shower but the landlord did not reply for 5days and charters estate agent did not do anything.

I can see on our system that you had a great pre tenancy experience with us with lots of support and advice from our negotiator and pre tenancy team. I am disappointed to learn that you have since lost that positive impression of us. Its a shame that you did not make us aware directly about your dissatisfaction regarding the repair to your shower as Cheryl your property manager was unaware that you were unhappy. As soon as you informed her of the problem she offered advice and then arranged for someone to attend and has since been liaising with both your landlord and the contractors but we appreciate that it must be frustrating for you having a variable temperature in your shower. I hope that moving forward you can enjoy living in your new home and that you can regain your trust in the service delivered by Charters lettings.

Got to say a huge thanks to Charters for sticking with my chain which seemed to drag on forever. I never had to chase, I was always kept up to date and they were always helpful when others, such as solicitors, were non-existent. Thanks to all involved
