I bought a house that was on the market with Acorn. The agent, Richard, went above and beyond to help with any issues that arose and did a brilliant job of keeping the purchase on track. Great service, communication and extremely friendly - it’s been a pleasure.

I had an excellent experience with this branch. Our estate agent, Arikson Franco, showed us round the property initially and was there for support and advice throughout the whole process (which, through no fault of his own, took longer than expected). He stayed patient and was always on hand to answer any queries or chase things for us when needed. Would highly recommend this estate agents to anyone, and if you can get Franco to sort you out - I would!

We Had our 2 bed Flat listed originally in April after meeting with Richard. His knowledge of the area seemed second to none paired alongside his enthusiasm and realistic achievable pricings are what made us decide to use acorn. We had 3 viewings even before the house was listed on their website and even had a full value offer! Unfortunately, the buyers pulled out unexpectedly, and with no real reason given! As you can imagine, this was extremely stressful, but Richard came round (at extremely short notice) to get the pictures done. This actually did is a favour because the garden was in full bloom by this point (every cloud and all that)! We had 3 more viewing within 48 hours of the flat being back on the market and received an offer after a second viewing. I am happy to say that we have completed, and to be completely honest the only stess of any part was caused by something that no-one could have prevented. I know that I have already mentioned Richard in this review, but every member of this branch is a credit to their industry. Paige, Franko, Richard were all excellent when we needed them, but I have to personally credit Luke (who was my main agent). Every point of every detail was relayed to me promptly, and would often phone if I hadn't responded to an email. I could not have been happier with the service that I received, and I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you. Gary Ross.

I sold my property through Acorn. In the main I dealt with Franco Arikson who was professional, easily contactable and efficient. Occasionally when Franco was away I dealt with other staff members who were not quite as efficient but this was not a huge problem. Franco dealt well with difficult buyers and we felt he was always upfront with us.

I dealt with Arikson Franco for the purchase of my property. He was very professional, committed and reliable. He is a great professional who has shown an outstanding sense of service (always available by phone and email, ensures that the process moves forward, kept us informed when needed etc.). I will definitely consider him if I sell in the future.

I received a fantastic and very professional service from Acorn's Catford office, in particular, Lettings Negotiator Shamia Oakley-Rowe. He helped secure my new flat swiftly, while tactfully navigating all hurdles. His patience and kind, helpful nature has been greatly appreciated throughout a tricky situation. You won't find a more supportive estate agent. I would highly recommend them.

I have been selling my house for a year it's been a long road but finally with the help of Arikson Franco we have got it sold. He has been very helpful and always got back to me with any questions I've had. At the last hurdle the buyers solicitors were dragging their feet and Franco chased them every day til the contracts were exchanged so I would definitely recommend them. Many thanks to Franco and the team. (Mel)

What an experience! I approached Acorns with a property to sell. And I must say, their service was absolutely fantastic. They got me two very good offers within a couple of weeks. And they worked really hard to push the sale through quickly. I don’t normally write reviews, but the service I received was so good that I am writing this review as a way of saying thank you, particularly to Franco and Richard.

Great service and experience from start to finish with Richard, Luke and the whole team at Acorn Catford, and a special shout out to Arikson Franco who was fantastic throughout the whole conveyancing process. Thanks Franco! I also chose Acorn at Catford as I remember them from when I was buying in the area - they were the agents that stood out in terms of local knowledge and straight talk. Like many vendors these days, I looked into the option of online estate agents but think it's a false economy compared with good high street agents like this Acorn branch - also when you factor in the number of viewings and interest they generate. Thanks again guys.

We were first time buyers new to the Catford area and had a great experience with Acorn - especially Arikson Franco. He was professional and friendly throughout, and especially honest during the viewing process which was appreciated. He went above and beyond to liaise with solicitors and push things along, especially when we were nearing the end of our rental contract and needed a quick exchange. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience buying through Acorn in Catford and in particular Franco who was the agent on our purchase. He was regularly in contact and responded quickly to any queries we had. He was particularly brilliant right near our exchange when we had lots of trouble (not with our seller but further up the chain). We were in contact 4 or 5 times daily and got regular updates and he liaised with solicitors and other agents to push things forward on our and our seller's behalf. He went above and beyond and I think helped to ensure our chain did not fall apart!

I recently had the pleasure of working with them when buying my first property. They made time to respond to every question or concern I had as a first time buyer. My special thanks to Taylor Moutard. His dedication and willingness to do the best for the client is remarkable. I had some troubles in the process, but Taylor managed to handle these difficulties on his own. He is an excellent person to have on your side. I would highly recommend the ACorn team to anyone planning to buy or sell a property.

Kennington office were a fantastic team to deal with for my property sale. Taylor Moutarde was my sales agent/sales manager. Process was friendly, professional, well detailed and exceeded all my agency expectations. I had nothing to worry about from the time I dropped off my keys until the time the sale went through. Everything was seamless between Acorn and my solicitors too. Thank you again and I look forward to working with you next time.

This was by far the worst tenancy and…

This was by far the worst tenancy and property management experience I have ever endured in my 10 years of living in London and now Sutton at Northumberland House. I have recruited roles in PM and can assure you that the standard of property management is exceptionally low, it was rarely visited, and security was frequently used to fill in the gaps. It takes months for anything to get fixed and communication is at a minimum. Tenants should be at the heart of the business, not a number and forgotten about. My advice would be to go to a more reputable property agent. Avoid, you will regret dealing with them...

Unprofessional liars who try to take your money before an offer is even accepted

A very unprofessional company with very unprofessional staff, Nicholas impartcular. I asked to put an offer on a flat. An email was sent immediately telling to make an offer and to transfer £500 deposit. Of course I was not going to give them my money until and offer was accepted. I never got a response from the email so emailed him to confirm he had received it. Still nothing. After not hearing from him at all for two days I called the office and spoke to A colleague who said it was pending and Nicholas would call me. 2 days later my boyfriend called up to chase the offer again. Nicholas then lied to my boyfriend and said he had already called me to tell me our offer hadnt been accepted. He then spoke to me very rudely still saying he had called me to tell me that. Such a liar and totally rubbish at his job. Stay clear of these and I’m now really glad that I didn’t get the flat as having this company as your estate agent would be a nightmare.

Professional thieves!!! Beware of them.

Guys, please don't go near them. They took my £250 pounds . Told me they are checking my preference for over a month. They tell lies, unprofessional, raised their voice when talking to you. Push you around themselves. They are fraudsters, posing under letting disguise. I promise them I'll get my money back. They wasted our time chasing refrence. We spent one month and some days trying to rent from them. Not knowing, thru have already given the house to someone else, while they made us chase after nothing. They work together with FCC paragon. Doing nothing, but rip people off their had earned money. I wish there's no star to describe them.
