My process was pretty smooth overall. There was only one hiccup, but it was quickly sorted out. As a first-time landlord, I needed all the information and guidance I could get, and the support was really helpful. I’m glad I chose Acorn, especially since there were other options available. What really drew me to them was Damian's straightforward and honest approach, which is something everyone appreciates. Acorn were the most successful and the nicest Letting Agents we have have ever used. Our experience with Damian and Cameron at the Kennington Branch was much the best of the Agencies we chose in our area. They were always polite, professional and helpful and shortly after we had signed up, they found us an ideal couple as our tenants. They understood our requirements and took the trouble to find the best tenants for us. They were never pushy and they gave us confidence which was well placed. Acorn have been fantastic from beginning to end when selling my property: particularly Godefroy and Tina. My property was priced fairly, I received constructive, helpful advice as a first time seller, and had clear communication throughout the process. Godefroy had a great understanding of my area, getting through the admin hurdles that come with selling an ex-council property, how long it might take to get an offer, and negotiated well once an offer came through. I was recommended a conveyancer by Acorn - I stupidly picked another. The conveyancer was terrible, but the team at Acorn were incredibly supportive during the process and were on it with moving the conveyancer along. Cannot recommend them enough and if I were to sell again in London, I’d pick them and follow their recommendations more closely!

Acorn Kennington Branch saved me from anxiety and dissatisfaction in selling my house. And they provided me with a satisfactory service. Before I met Acorn, I asked another real estate agent in the same area for about three months to sell, who suffered from anxiety and insomnia due to their continued downward pressure and aggressive and threatening services, so I parted with them and went to Adam in Acorn. From this point on, I was at peace with their agile and confident attitude, and not only did they enter into selling, but they eventually sold my house for a much better price than the real estate agent they had previously entrusted. I was concerned about finding the right agent I didn't want a cliched sales pitch or to be taken on and then forgotten about and I wasn't interested in if my agent arrived in a brand new Tesla. There was something about Adam, particularly his local knowledge and plain talking that drew us to go with Acorn. Adam and the team were quick to get things going and found a buyer after the first weekend. What was credit to the agency was the way they kept in touch throughout and in fact were very proactive in chasing the sellers solicitors to move the sale on. Selling a house is stressful at the best of times but Adam was refreshing and provided necessary support to the very end. I would have no hesitation recommending Acorn.

I have rented my property for over 2 years with Acorn. I must say that Damian Agbodza has been the only helpful agent in Acorn. He is, sadly, not my property manager as I was assigned another one, which is very annoying since Damian is the only person who helps me when I need any extra document or when I have any issues. He replies very quickly, even when he is on holidays (something that I wouldn’t expect and yet he is always there). If you are looking to rent a property, don’t go to Acorn, just go to Acorn Kennington and ask for Damian to show you properties.
