As FTB, we recently purchased a flat where Acorn was the seller's agent - we had an absolutely excellent experience. Lamar was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and did an excellent job of chasing up all parties and keeping us updated in a timely way throughout the transaction. I Instructed Acorn Estate Agents in Brockley back in March 2024, I found them to be most courteous and professional, all staff members were very polite and engaging. In particular, The branch manager Kevin Ashton was both highly professional and most pleasant to work with and made what is a stressful time very relaxed and easy. They had introduced a buyer quite early on but sadly the buyer pulled out for personal reasons and I decided later to remove the house from the market for a while to give it a break. I had every intention of going back on the market with Kevin and his team as I had absolutely no complaints, but a buyer appeared from another source and proceeded to completion. Although I've now sold I feel gutted that it was not through Acorn as they worked hard and kept at it to find a suitable applicant. If I was to sell again in the future in Brockley, I would have no hesitation in instructing Acorn Brockley again, especially if Kevin was at the helm as it was more like dealing with a friend than some faceless organisation that is so often the case. If anyone out there is in any doubt rest assured you won't be disappointed, Kevin and his team are up there with the very best Lets hope hope the residents of Brockley can enjoy their services for a long time to come

Nice staff but NEVER use the solicitors they recommend. On a chain free conveyance we’re approaching 20 weeks with no end in sight, the purchase property has literally sat empty for that entire period… can’t imagine how long it would take when you’ve got a chain involved! Also just found out that documents requested from the freeholder were only requested around week 18 of the process and they’ve got a 30 day turnaround time. Genuinely gobsmacked.
