our experience with Acorn was good untill on the day when we went to collect the keys from Dartford branch , it was Saturday just before mid day , door was locked , rang plumstead / eltham branch to find out the reason and they couldnot get hold of Dartford branch and couldnot help . we were so panicking .because we had arranged our booking with the removal company for the same day @ 4.p.m we were waiting at the door step and after around 45 mins a lady turned up to unlock the door and she was not even apologetic which we found really unprofessional .I mean there were no notice on the door , so how could anyone assume that some one will definitely be turning up !! we were waiting as we didnot have any option :) you guys should be really careful . Had a bid accepted on a property and was instructed to put forward my mortgage and conveyance details. Did so and then was contacted by Acorn that the vendor had accepted another offer. Wasted my time and money. Do not trust this estate agent. Will not use again

Nothing Good to Say about Acorn

We have had a terrible experience whilst trying to purchase a house through the Forest Hill branch of Acorn. They are all over you in the initial stages but once things started to get complicated they made a point of not communicating with us, actively avoiding our calls. The branch manager was disinterested and of no help whatsoever and the staff did not carry out due diligence. We wasted 2 stressful months persuing a property that never should have been marketed and Acorn led us up and down the garden path costing us legal and survey fees. They really do give estate agents a bad name. Please see through the pointy shoes and cheap suits, they are sharks.

Most unprofessional estate agents I ever had to deal with. As a potential buyer, it was very difficult to arrange viewings with them and the one viewing we could arrange was cancelled last minute, literally as we were standing in front of the address to view the property. complete time wasters.
