GoogleDespite taking a fee every month and being promised that my beautiful apartment would be looked after - it was outside my comprehension that a property could be so damaged by a tenant and a management company mismanaging the entire process.
After month one, the rent was never fully paid, or at best, very late. I had to get involved to ask Taylors to pursue this (seems as long as a tenant pays a 'bit' it is not considered unpaid).
I also had to chase Taylors to ensure the tenant moved out at the end of the tenancy but was told 'we cannot make them hand over the keys.' The tenant stayed an extra 2 nights.
The damage to the property was extensive - a bed broken in half, radiators ripped off walls, holes in walls etc and there was drug paraphernalia and cigarette butts everywhere, despite the property being a no-smoke property. Taylors had not picked any of this up during site visits.
I had to file a dispute as the tenant was chasing the deposit - this took a significant amount of time and the onus was on me to prove the damage (easily done with photos). During this time, Taylors were regrouping and not accepting any liability for mis-management, neither did they support me during this challenging time. The deposit did not come close to covering the repairs or replacing damaged items.
The team are all lovely people but I didn't pay a fee each month for nice people but for a professional organisation to manage my property for me at a fee. This did not happen.
Based on my experience and how much this cost me financially and emotionally, I would never recommend Taylors.

GoogleBefore we decided to market our property for the 4th time, I went online to read reviews of estate agents in Luton/Dunstable. Taylors caught my eye due to its positive reviews & so I chose them! From Day 1, Luke Barker has been nothing but a great help - from choosing how to sell our house (traditional or auctioning) to how best to advertise it. He was very understanding, patient & very informative. His positive demeanor every time we speak to him made us think we're truly in good hands. The rest of the team have been great in communicating with us through emails and calls re: viewings & feedbacks (thank you so much, Kayleigh Downes & Emily Darrall). They were constantly keeping us on the loop which was great. TAYLORS have honoured all our wishes and successfully managed to get us a buyer in just a month!
In Luke's absence, Clive Cook (Manager) was proactive in doing some chasing which helped us complete the sale right on time. Leaving the keys in the office a few days ago was surreal. With lovely Emily receiving them, I felt the genuineness of her words and her smile...it just made that kinda sad (leaving our home after 16 years), kinda happy day, to be actually one of our proud and happiest day!
I can truly conclude that in all the estate agents I dealt with for the past 5 years, TAYLORS undoubtedly has a great team, all working together! They know how to handle their clients professionally, so I'd say they are very well recommended. Thanks again, Luke, as well as everyone who made this sale a successful one! You are all amazing!!!
