Advise students to stay away from this letting agency. They are extremely slow at replying, unless it is a viewing (in which case they often will just show up, and often not even lock the door despite all tenants being out...). Took the agent seven months to fix a fridge which was showing temperatures of 12 degrees, following which the electrician stated it was illegal to have been fitted in the state it was. They will try and take as much as they can from your deposit, such as charging over £250 in cleaning fees, despite the residency left in an immaculate condition, following the hiring of a private cleaner. The landlord was more efficient at fixing things than NH. Avoid if you can.

If I could give zero stars I would. This estate agents is beyond poor. My housemates and I are second year university students and already we have had to live with mould growing in our rooms, covering clothes and furniture that we have had to throw away. we lived like this for 3 months and became ill with colds, Nicholas Humphreys were extremely unsympathetic and rude to us making us think it was our fault and normal to be living in cold, damp conditions when in fact it was a structural housing issue that caused condensation in rooms and mould to grow. this situation was sorted out after 3 months. secondly we have been living for over a month now with no wifi. there was no fast attempt to resolve this and again began blaming us, only after 3 weeks were we given a 4G box however this ran out after a few days meaning as uni students we couldn't do our work at home and we were using a lot of money on 4G. I can't put into words how awful this place is. for the amount of money we are paying as students I cannot believe they are treating us like this. DO NOT SIGN WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Nicholas is a truly exceptional estate agent, a cut above the rest. His qualities would be difficult to list but here are a few that stand out ; his professionalism, knowledge of the home he is selling, his honesty and his human touch . After viewing many a house with various estate agents across Sheffield, I was surprised and dissapointed to find that most were unfamiliar with the home they were selling or the area. Simple questions could not be answered, this unfortunately made house hunting a difficult task. However this changed when I viewed a house with Nicholas. I was impressed with his level of knowledge and the amount of information he knew about the area and home. It was clear to me that Nicholas dedicates a lot of time and effort getting to know the homes he sells. The experience with Nicholas was completely different in comparison to the big name estate agents in Sheffield. He took us on a house tour, no stone was left unturned, every question was answered with zero hesitation, every corner of the house was discussed . The information given was useful, factual and allowed me to make a better informed decision as to whether or not the house was suitable. Fortunately, we decided to go ahead and purchase the house, I can definitely confirm that the level of service during the purchase process was amazing. Nicholas works extremely hard, 7 days a week, late into the evening. Calls are responded too immediately, emails answered professionally and promptly. I would not hesitate to recommend Nicholas . If you are looking to sell a house you are most definitely in good hands, if you are purchasing a house you will be working alongside a trustworthy honest estate agent. I truly feel thankful that we were lucky enough to purchase using Nicholas Humphries. Thank you for making our buying process so wonderfully perfect.
