We then contacted Nicholas Humphreys, Nick arrived on time ( so many don't π) and gave us all the information we needed and assured us they could find us a Tennant. To our delight we had 3 visitors with 2 days and the house was rented out the following week. We are absolutely delighted.
Furthermore the onward communication has been excellent via email and wattsap and we have been guided and kept up to date throughout.
I highly recommend this agent, Nick and his team have been wonderful.

GoogleI previously had my rental house up for sale with another estate agent, which fell through, and felt let down and frustrated.
I approached Nicholas Humphreys following a marketing letter (never heard of them before) and Chris came round to talk it all through. He discussed how the current listing looked to buyers and what he would propose elevate the listing. I immediately felt reassured that he knew what was best to sell the property and I signed up there and then.
I was kept well up to date with the progress (something I hadn't experienced before with my other estate agent). Within a couple of weeks Chris managed to secure an offer. He, again, kept me well informed with how its going, often linking in with solicitors (on both sides) to keep it going and advised me of what I needed to do (if anything).
The whole process has taken around 3-4 months and I can finally breathe a huge sigh of relief that it's due to complete.
I can't thank Chris enough for his efforts, continued updates and support. I would definitely recommend and will use again.

Throughout the tenancy, he continued to provide exceptional support. He promptly addressed any maintenance issues that arose, ensuring that repairs were carried out promptly and to a high standard.

I love my apartment but for the toilets and bathroom (it needs clean up). The cupboard should be big to accommodate our boxes.

GoogleI've rented through Nicholas Humphreys for over 7 years. I've always found them to be efficient at contacting the landlord and resolving issues when there's been a problem. They have always been respectful when carrying out property inspections. More recently when my landlord decided to sell they handled this sensitively and professionally. They helped me to find a new property and I found Eileen to be particularly supportive at what was a very stressful time. Amber went out of her way to help us with a viewing of a rental property. Annie and Victoria were both very considerate about arranging viewings around my availability. I've nothing negative to say about this agency based on my experience in dealing with them.

Very happy client!
We had dealt with NH before (for rentals), and this was the second time that we had sold a property through them.
We dealt with Dave for the valuation, and he was excellent - professional, helpful and very friendly.
Unfortunately, the market was very poor at the time (mid-2023) and there were various hold-ups (not their fault), which led to delays.
BUT Victoria and Dave worked hard to get it "across the line", last week.
Many thanks to them, as well as Simon and Annie!
Recommended - 10/10 !

GoogleWe lived in a property managed by Nicholas Humphreys this past year in Southampton. They have without a doubt the worst communication possible, the phone in their office is never picked up and emails take weeks to be replied to. When we moved into the house it was in a disgusting state and throughout the tenancy it was tricky and time consuming to get the smallest tasks carried out by the agents. The end of our tenancy was stressful to manage with our questions taking weeks to be answered and unreasonable charges were given to us. Overall disappointed and made sorting the house out another unnecessary stress during uni.

GoogleAll good reviews here are fake and written themselves. I Rented for a year and found that If you want any maintenance issues dealt with or any help getting your deposit back after tenancy, they will simply deflect the blame and make no effort to help you. They always make up and excuse to call you back later.. AND NEVER DO. They also work with landlords who are prepared to lie about damages and charge you for things you havenβt done. My guess is they work together with the landlords to mug you off at any opportunity.

GoogleSCAMMERS!!! I would not even rate them 1 star. DO NOT RENT WITH THESE PEOPLE! They have absolutely ripped us off. First, they left us with no hot water or heating in the winter for over 2 weeks. Legally you are entitled to a 25/50% reduction on your rent when you have no hot water or heating longer than 2 days. They did not give us a discount and completely dismissed our needs. Secondly when we move out we left the house exactly how it was and they are refusing to give us our deposit back due to uncleanliness and broken things, WHICH WERE WHEN WE MOVE IN. Th have even gone so far to say the light switches were filthy which is a complete joke. They have also used old photos for the inventory, the first one there are completely different light shades, desks and chairs which we obviously would not replace. They are also not getting back to us because they are SCAMMERS!!!!
