GoogleI have several properties with Nicholas Humphreys in Burton and the service I have received has been first class. There is always contact with the bigger issues and my property manager Paul sorts out the minor stuff and just lets me know what's going on. I would recommend them to anyone

GoogleA property was advertised and I went and viewed it. It was acceptable and I made the £100 holding fee and arranged a moving date. I put in my notice in my existing house arranged holiday and booked a van. 24 hrs later I received an email from the agents saying that the landlord wanted me to move in in 3 weeks which sounded alarm bells. When I went for the viewing the tenant in the property showed me round but apparently Nicholas Humphries didn't know that a tenant was living there they thought it was vacant. After numerous emails and phone calls it turned out that the landlord had rented it to one of his friends therefore I lost the house. Apparently Nicholas Humphries didn't know the landlords dealings. I asked for my £100 back, only to be told it would take a week to go back into my account. I feel I have been ripped off and am still awaiting refund. From the start of the transaction I felt that the staff did not know what they were doing. I will never deal with them again.

GoogleWe are so pleased with the service we have received from the Burton branch. Nothing has been too much trouble for them. We are first time landlords and these guys have helped us every step of the way. We would recommend this company every time. Thank you Matt you are brilliant.

GoogleI don't write that many reviews, but in the case of Nicholas Humphreys, I'm making a rare exception. We were looking for a rental property and of all the agents we contacted across numerous geographical locations, they were the only agency who stood by their word and did what they agreed to do and by when it needed to be done. No having to take time out of my busy schedule to chase and they were prepared to act quickly with viewings even though I know it put them to trouble. Needless to say, they came through like real champions! I would highly recommend them if reliability is something that you value.

GoogleTransferred the rental management of my mothers bungalow to Nicholas Humphreys from another local estate agent. Wow, exceeded all expectations. Agreed competitive T&C's, online property promotion and secured a new tenant all within 3 (YES THREE) days. Outstanding performance. Special mention to Simon Smith Manager who put himself out to make this happen and Stephanie Power who kept us informed by email all the way. Couldn't recommend this Company and it's staff highly enough.

GoogleI've just sold my house through Nicholas Humphreys The house sold quickly and for what I thought was a great fixed price Wrong! The price was plus vat Maybe I should of read the paperwork better but on the day they came to take pictures and I agreed the price It wasn't explained it was plus vat To me fixed fee means exactly that! They just told me what I wanted to hear to get my custom I didn't get a copy of the paperwork until after the sale of the property had gone through and I questioned the fee It ended up being a lot more expensive than purple bricks who has also valued the house and I'm sure could of sold it just as quickly Will not be using them again ☹️

GoogleI've had an excellent experience with Nicolas Humphreys, as they have been extremely proactive in getting my property rented out. Everyone I have spoken to in the office have been very professional and helpful making both myself and tenants very happy. Most recently, I've been speaking with Stephanie Powers in Referencing who has been excellent at communicating progress and completing references speedily. Furthermore both Matt Wright (who manages the property) and Simon Smith (director) have been great to work with.

GoogleAbsolute waste of time, took my daughters money knowing she did not meet their criteria before doing a supposed credit check. Be aware !!!! They obviously know how much people need to earn before any monies are taken. When we questioned their policies we were then told they were "administration fees". Also the amount of times we called but the person dealing with us was not available was bewildering made us wonder if they actually worked there.Would not recommend this estate agent at all .

At the point of applying, we do not know whether or not potential tenants will meet all of the criteria, therefore all applicants read and digitally sign a declaration before committing to any payment of the application fees. Once this is received along with the required information, there is then a considerable amount of work involved contacting landlords & employers, along with completing credit checks amongst other things. Unfortunately, not all applications are successful. Without going into specific details regarding the particular application in question, we have reviewed this and believe that we have acted accordingly. We are here to listen though and would encourage you to call the office directly on 01782 898153 with any specific concerns that you have, so that we may address these directly with you. GoogleMy experience here has been the worst I've not even moved in yet. Emilia the secretary over there at the Nicholas Humphreys here in hatfield is the worst she's been very rude and inappropriate towards me she also purposely gave me the wrong key and now wouldn't pick up my calls so I'm homeless. Warning guys beware of her she'll trigger your very last nerve

We apologise for the inconvenience caused but unfortunately due to laws introduced in December 2016 we are unable to release keys or let a property to a tenant who is unable to provide documentation to prove their right to rent in the UK. In regards to the keys we do apologise for this mistake, as you can appreciate this is a busy time of year and we will do our utmost to ensure this does not happen again
