FacebookAbsolutely horrendous... The worst estate agents by far. I came across only one person willing to help me with my very difficult, stressful, upsetting, nightmare of a situaton with these people. And that person was part of the maintenence team.... They will rob you blind, be completely ignorant and not have one single care in the world for you. I have no idea how they sleep at night, honestly. The worst thing anyone can do is choose these agents. My experience with them is my biggest ever regret. Hidden fees everywhere (and that's only one out of a million problems) I hope my review is seen by someone considering moginie james (DO NOT DO IT)

Everyone we have dealt with has been professional and knowledgeable; providing an excellent link between ourselves and our tenants. When an issue has risen communication between all parties has been prompt and efficient - which makes life easier for everyone involved.. Inventories, check-ins, references, repairs , licensing, trade recommendations have all been dealt with promptly and effectively.

Moginie James are an absolutely fantastic agent. The service I received was second to none at what is an incredibly stressful time, full of expense, uncertainties, and strong emotions. All staff I dealt with at the Albany Road branch were so friendly and always available to deal with any queries....Graham, Annamarie, Joanne and Lynn to name a few. They always provided prompt feedback after viewings and were respectful of my wishes when at my property (watch the cats!!). They own Roath because they are the best. They non-invasively offered me their additional financial services. We chose to accept their legal services recommendation which made the process even more seamless due to the high level of communication. The after sales care was also fantastic and Michelle would keep in regular contact to advise of progress and chase things up where necessary (another burden relieved). I would only ever use Moginie James (although can't be doing with another move just yet). I only wish I had been able to buy through Moginie James as well.

Mogenie James sold our house. It was an excellent experience dealing with them. The firm represent quality service and value for money. Every member of the team we had dealings with was patient, courteous and helpful.. In particular our sales progression contact Michelle Lloyd was a star. She made what could have been a stressful experience rather pleasant. With a fab sense of humour she worked very hard for our benefit. Nothing was a problem for Michelle.
Also our initial contact with senior sales negotiator Andrew Trinick was very helpful.
I would recommend MG without hesitation. The final bill was also fair and reasonable. Thank you very much team.

I am happy to say that my own experience of dealing with Jill and her colleagues at Moginie James has been very similar to that of previous reviewer Mike R. After the initial sale fell through the MJ team quickly located another purchaser and Jill impressed me with the practical and efficient way that she steered the sale to a satisfactory conclusion. I particularly appreciated receiving regular progress reports from her without any prompting. And, finally, Jill was very helpful in persuading the developer from whom I was buying to remain patient whenever there was a delay in the process.

I can only hope anybody who reads this review avoids this letting agency AT ALL COSTS! They add unnecessary fees and lied about the property when discussed on the phone. Moginie James add hidden fees here there and everywhere which other letting agencies do not. They're a bunch of cowboys. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I've heard many stories from other people about how poor and dishonest their service was, but my partner and I liked a property so thought we'd pursue it but these stories were true. They also have a habit of deleting negative reviews for fear of prospective buyers/letters seeing the truth. AVOID!

From beginning to end, the service we have received with Moginie James has been excellent. The team in the Albany Road office are very friendly and approachable as was Andrew, who came out to give us the valuation. None of the team were ever pushy, and every person we dealt with left us confident that they would deal with our requests.
Michelle managed and progressed the sale and kept us up to date with very regular emails and phonecalls, and we felt completely 'in the picture' at all times. Michelle was very knowledgeable, moved things through quickly and easily and was always available to answer questions or emails.
We did consider going with an online estate agent, but having received such excellent customer service, and had such a stress free sale, we were delighted that we chose to go with Moginie James, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their team to friends and family!
