I would NEVER recommend anyone to rent or buy off this company. I have been renting since November 2019, every single day is a absolute nightmare. There is so much wrong with my flat and they do nothing to help. My tenancy is only for a year thankgod but I can honestly say it’s been the worst year of my life 👍🏽

Professional, Understanding, Caring & Good Listeners

Firstly I met Luke Tresize Sales Valuer Moginie James Albany Road who was very understanding on the sale of our Mum's house as she had sadly passed away. He listened to what I had to say and I did not feel any pressure to use Moginie James and that was why I chose them. Luke took really great photographs for the Brochure and showed great respect to the house and was very professional. I feel that with Moginie James they give true valuations and are realistic with market trends. All the staff in the Albany Road branch are so helpful and were aware of our sale no matter who answered the phone. Special thanks to Maria Scott Dabusco Sales Consultant who was so friendly & efficient. Also thanks to Lynne Patterson Sales Consultant who had previously helped my husband & I with our house sale 6 years ago!!!! At Moginie James I feel they are amazing at matching their Sellers & Buyers. Especially as soon as the house was on sale viewings started immediately. From this our buyer was found in Two Days and completion within 8 weeks. Michelle Lloyd Sales Progression Manager based at Head Office was very understanding regarding the Sales Brouchure. I wanted some changes in wording & picture layouts not a problem. New draft sent to me to approve. It was so quick and the signing of paperwork on line amazed me. Michelle was able to answer my queries and I felt at ease. Michelle updated me every week on the progress of the sale which was very helpful for me so I could pass on information to the rest of the family. In my opinion Moginie James are professional, approachable and take time to listen. We received top professional Service. Went Far above and Beyond to help reach Completion

Would like to say a big thanks to Michelle at Moginie James. Progression Department.in Cardiff Gate. She is a huge asset to your company. Michelle went far beyond what i would expect from an estate agent to help ensure the property sale went through as smoothly as possible. It was a very difficult sale due to the sellers not completing building control sign off's and correct certificates etc as well as issues to do with access which made it a very complicated sale. Michelle went far above and beyond to help get everything in place from liaising with the council to organising tradesmen, arguably all of this should have been sorted by the sellers, so i thank Michelle or i could still be waiting to move in 3 months later. Every call, message and email was answered fast and with a solution in every case which really helped when at times i felt like pulling out. and finding a less complicated property. If ever i come to sell i know who i will be going to first. Thanks again.

After original sale of my house fell through Jill stepped in and offered practical advise on how to move forward. After the second survey proved to have some problems, Jill quickly assessed what issues needed addressing and liaised with both myself and the buyer to get quick and professional quotes for work needing doing on the property. Perfect sales progression service

Once my offer was accepted I was introduced to Michelle from Sales Progression. Michelle was up to date with my purchase details, was able to update me on next steps and what to expect and always made herself available when I had any queries or concerns. Safe to say my queries and concerns were few and far between and the service received was fantastic from start to finish! I am very pleased to recommend Moginie James to anyone after my experience in selling a house, through them. The whole team from start to finish have been very good but Michelle in particular has been exceptional in her approach and dealings with the sale. Finally our House sale is completed after a very very long, period of negotiations between us and the purchaser via Michelle on the sales progression team. Yesm Moginie James can turn poison int0 medicine really!!

I had an extremerly positive experience both with Moginiejames and Michelle, A couple of obstacles did emerge while I was in the process of purchasing a property, mind you the troubles had nothing to do with the agent but only with the Landlord who had indeed an attitude (I rather not to disclose more). Because of that I had not choise but to make a complaint and both Moichelle and Moginie James dealt with it in a very professional manner. Indeed they went beyond my expectations. Needless to say I do definitely would recommend Michelle and MJ and definitely will use MJ as soon as the first occasion comes.

Mogenie James sold our house. It was an excellent experience dealing with them. The firm represent quality service and value for money. Every member of the team we had dealings with was patient, courteous and helpful.. In particular our sales progression contact Michelle Lloyd was a star. She made what could have been a stressful experience rather pleasant. With a fab sense of humour she worked very hard for our benefit. Nothing was a problem for Michelle. Friendly and professional

From beginning to end, the service we have received with Moginie James has been excellent. The team in the Albany Road office are very friendly and approachable as was Andrew, who came out to give us the valuation. None of the team were ever pushy, and every person we dealt with left us confident that they would deal with our requests. Michelle managed and progressed the sale and kept us up to date with very regular emails and phonecalls, and we felt completely 'in the picture' at all times. Michelle was very knowledgeable, moved things through quickly and easily and was always available to answer questions or emails. We did consider going with an online estate agent, but having received such excellent customer service, and had such a stress free sale, we were delighted that we chose to go with Moginie James, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their team to friends and family!

Friendly and professional

I have yet to move into my new property which I am renting from Moginie James but my experience with them so far is that they have been very friendly, helpful and professional. I met with Charlotte who initially showed me several properties (including the one I have chosen) and given that I am new to Cardiff, her warm welcome and knowledge of the area was very appreciated. I had a second viewing of the property where I was met by Adrian who was just as friendly and who helped me to take measurements for my furniture. So far I have been impressed with the professionalism of the agency. My only criticism (and it is a small one) is that the few times I have phoned the offiice, there has been no one available from the lettings team to talk to me and so I have to keep leaving messages. My experience is that contacting them by email is better..

Highly recommend this agent & his team.

All the team were really helpful and efficient in getting me moved and settled into my new rented property really quickly. Rhys was particularly helpful in going out of his way to remove some items left in the flat that I didn't need. All emails and communications are responded to within 24 hours. I had reported a minor repair required using their excellent online reporting service and the repair was sorted within days to a high standard. When I emailed Rhys for an update this was given in full within 24 hours. Really satisfied with the team and the level of support provided so far. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a rental property.

We used Jill at Moginie James for the sale of our house, twice in fact after the first sale 2 years ago fell through. Jill's role is to progress the sale from offer stage to exchange, and she was always chasing up rather than being chased. Diligent, Punctual, Professional and Helpful

Jayne did not act for me, I was a purchaser and so she was acting for the sellers/vendors. Jayne was easy to get hold of, always called back when she said she would, made sensible suggestions, was very professional, kept the process moving, chased parties (including financial advisors, solicitors of both parties) without prompting, and made the transaction go far quicker and smoother than it otherwise would have. After dealing with Jayne and seeing was an asset she was to her clients, I would definitely instruct her in the future when I come to sell.

I called the cyncoed office about viewing some property and spoke to Ceri Jardine, whom after I spoke just hung up on me. I called again and she did not answer me. It went straight to answer phone. I do not think this is appropriate behaviour for an interested customer/client. I do think Ceri Jardine should be reminded that it is clients like me that pay her wage. Her behaviour is disgraceful.
