It was a pleasure dealing with Moginie James and Michelle who was great from start to finish when purchasing our first home and certainly helped take a lot of the stress out of the proceedings! Michelle kept us constantly in the loop and was able to help with any of the things that we raised. All in all a very positive experience, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Moginie James to anyone buying or selling their property!

Moginie James have been brilliant from start to finish. Our property went on the market in the first week of February, and we are now completing...... by the end of March. This estate agent has been courteous, efficient and on-the-ball throughout. Michelle has been fantastic on a personal level.. She has chased all issues and resolved, often within a day. . She really drove the sale. I would not hesitate to recommend MJ.

Michelle was instrumental in the successful sale of my flat under difficult conditions - she liaised between the solicitors of myself and my buyer excellently and kept me informed throughout the process. Michelle was very approachable and helpful at all stages of the sale and I think if it weren't for her efficiency the sale would have taken much longer to complete. Michelle made a difficult time much easier. Out of everyone in the process, Michelle was the most communicative, spoke in layman's terms and made an often stressful & pressured process much more manageable. She was definitely the light in a seemingly never-ending tunnel. Nothing seems too much trouble; responses were quick & succinct and her manner and attitude were great. I wish everyone in the process were like her.

From the first valuation visit from Luke to the exchange of contracts by Michelle, the MJ team have been brilliant. Selling a house is a stressful time but they have made it smooth and easy. The visit from the photographer/videographer was respectful with excellent results. The brochure looked great. And within 3 working days I had an offer at asking price. Moginie James made finding the right house so much easier than the other estate agents we spoke to. Michelle made the process of buying the house as simple as it could be. We lost one house due to another estate agent not communicating with us, this is not the case with Michelle. We were kept in the loop all the way through to collecting the keys.

FacebookOnce leaving the tenancy, they took our full deposit and blamed maintenance issues with the property. We had to ask for a new dishwasher and washing machine as well as a new back door throughout the tenancy, we made them aware of all problems. We went nearly a week without heating in February with little to no contact off their behalf Awful contact, awful agency with awful staff who couldn’t give a spare thought about your living conditions or money. They took £1,295 over some overgrown bushes and a couple of boxes left in the hall that we couldn’t dispose of (they were made aware of that) Don’t bother with them

Buying your first home can be really daunting, right from the start, Michelle was brilliantly reassuring and available whenever I had any questions. Michelle kept me up to date at every stage, and would often explain things to me that my solicitor should have! I wouldn't hesitate to use Moginie James again, and I've already recommended them to friends, particularly because of Michelle's great service.

FacebookAbsolutely horrendous... The worst estate agents by far. I came across only one person willing to help me with my very difficult, stressful, upsetting, nightmare of a situaton with these people. And that person was part of the maintenence team.... They will rob you blind, be completely ignorant and not have one single care in the world for you. I have no idea how they sleep at night, honestly. The worst thing anyone can do is choose these agents. My experience with them is my biggest ever regret. Hidden fees everywhere (and that's only one out of a million problems) I hope my review is seen by someone considering moginie james (DO NOT DO IT)

FacebookAbsolutely appalling service. Waited a month for any news on the release of our bond, despite contacting them numerous times about this. Left the house absolutely spotless and in much better condition than when we moved in and they charged us £140, which they were not willing to discuss and essentially informed us that if we did not except the charges then we would not get the bond back at all. On leaving the property, despite us cancelling the direct debit in good time, they took an extra months rent early. We are still waiting for this overpayment of rent to be refunded to us and it has been nearly 2 months now. Multiple emails, phone calls and office visits and no refund, apology or explanation as to why we have not been refunded. Will never use them again and would certainly never recommend them to anyone.
