I recently sold my property and also purchased my new home through Michael Poole, I cannot recommend them highly enough, Derrick did both the valuation of the property I sold and also accompanied me to the numerous house viewings i did, he was alway very accommodating, flexible and professional. The office staff Nick and Gill where out standing, they Were both knowledgeable and approachable. Really impressed with Michael Poole, had listed the property with two other estate agents previously and poor results. Within days of listing with MP we had quality, 'genuine' interest from potential buyers, which soon lead to a sensible offer & subsequent sale. "I've looked into this with the management team and the number provided appeared to be out of service which is possibly why the team were unable to call you." Strange that other people were able to get through and Charlotte managed on Monday. It won't be a problem in the future as I have no trust or confidence in the Redcar Office and will not be looking to purchase any property marketed by you. I might have if people were honest.

Awful - maybe it's an industry standard

Made an offer on a property via the Redcar office, I was told the vendor had asked for two days to consider, this was only after I contacted them. Waited all day for a call, no call forthcoming so I withdrew the offer. 2 days later a message was left claiming they'd called on Saturday and asked me to call back. I called and no one answered. I wouldn't trust them to sell a property for me. Maybe they were hoping for a higher offer.

Most unprofessional service of all our local estate agents. Having bought numerous houses over the years for rent the only estate agent I haven’t managed to secure a property through is Michael Poole. In my opinion they actively encourage price wars and gazumping. Over the last 12 months I have had 3 offers on 3 separate houses accepted on the understanding that they were taken off the market, only to receive notification within a day that higher offers had been accepted and asking if we would like to increase our offers. So be careful and very cautious and don’t get over exited thinking you have secured your new dream home as there maybe a sting in the tail round the corner

I would have no hesitation in recommending Michael Poole Estate Agents - Tracy at Coulby Newham branch went well above her duty to ensure our house sale was completed - she was courteous & calm and took responsibility when others didn't .Tracy became the person we called upon when others failed to communicate - without her intervention we would not have completed our sale in the timescale we did . Disappointing from the start. Customer service, communication, and general service was very poor. We struggled to sell at first and we asked for advice, and were advised to lower the cost which we did. still struggled to sell. Other houses close to us with other estate agents sold quickly and for more money which can only mean that they were not marketing our property very well. finally got an offer from a first time buyer, who did not have a mortgage in principle, this is something they didn't check before allowing them to play an offer which then caused a lot of issues as the buyer couldn't get a mortgage. it took 4 weeks to get the mortgage through, and I had to chase MP for updates instead of them calling me. I had to ask a lot of questions to find out what was going on instead of being informed. finally they got an offer. in that time we have a viewing organised and Michael poole informed me that it would be cancelled, which it was not. and a prospective buyer arrived unexpectedly. throughout the whole process of the sale I did not hear from Michael poole once on the process of the sale, however on the process of the purchase, Robinsons updated me every week. when we came to complete, we agreed to sell the fridge as part of the house. someone from MP advised me that everything had to go through the solicitors which was fine. and then on the moving day, I had a call fr another member of staff to ask me what was going on with some sort of private arrangement. no communication between colleagues. I would not recommend MP, staff often do not know what's going on, and are rude when questioned as to why. I wish I had gone with someone else from the start

We had the pleasure of working alongside Michael Poole in securing our lovely new home in the North East. Whilst we were not contracted to the company (we used an estate agent in the East Midlands to sell our home) we had occasion to contact the Billingham branch regularly. The staff were always courteous and responsive and seemed to have the interests of all parties at heart. Their drive to overcome all obstacles and arrive at a win-win outcome sets them apart. A nice company to deal with. I have used them several times in the last couple of years and would do so again. Fair and thorough, and if they get something obviously wrong in the inventory they are happy to correct it and quickly too. Good value and have always been available when I want them.
