GoogleMichael Poole Middlesbrough helped me to work fast to sell my house and secure the house I wanted. Tom visited my home quickly for a valuation and took photos the same day, and also had an honest conversation about the asking price - no unrealistic prices, but the right price to sell quickly based on comparables in the area. My listing went live on the MP website the next day, with viewings organised the same day. I received an offer over asking price the day after, meaning my house was sold before it hit RightMove. Craig was especially helpful with viewings - I had to do a lot of my own viewings as requests came in so quickly that MP didn't have availability at such short notice to do accompanied viewings (though they would have accommodated this with more notice - it was my choice to do them as I needed to move quickly). He advised on how to handle difficult questions and to redirect any queries about price/offers back to the office team, and generally listened to me complain 😂
Craig and Ruby in Middlesbrough office have continued to support me through the sale and my onward purchase, chasing solicitors and liaising with the entire chain. My sale and purchase completed this week - I'm not planning on moving again, but if I do I will use MP.

GoogleWe contacted Michael Poole when we were selling our deceased Dad’s house because previously both myself and other family members had had excellent service from them when selling our own properties. As usual we were not disappointed and from start to finish the service was outstanding. Communication excellent- we received text information informing us of viewing and personal calls re feedback from viewers. We had several potential sales fall through but within a day the property was back on line and new potential buyers were booked in. They had a key to the property so we didn’t need to be there for viewings - the whole thing was seamless. Craig, Sophie and Linsey were an amazing team and a special thanks to Sophie for the laughs. Thank you all so much - it was a sad sale for our family as it had been our family home for 58 years. But you helped and sometimes you just need that support. Amazing

GoogleI would just like to thank Tom, Sophie and the team from the Middlesbrough office. From my very first meeting with Tom to have the house valued, I have felt so at ease with the team. The property was advertised quickly and viewings were arranged straight away. Sophie kept kept me up to date when a visit was booked and also I received follow up reports after the viewing had taken place. I was lucky in that the person who viewed first bought the property. We viewed a property that was for sale with Micheal Poole on December 30th 2025 and made an offer via email on the 30th. Although the office was closed on the 31st the office manager rang me from home. The offer was accepted. Though out the whole process Marian Gilhooly constantly kept in touch with updates. She was supportive, encouraging when things slowed down and incredibly helpful and professional. I don’t think that anything was too much trouble for her , she simply could not do enough for us. This is the worst agent I have ever worked with. Supposedly acting for us, this estate agent, I feel, was dishonest and misleading….protecting a chain to our detriment (not informing us that they had the entire chain) . Ill advising and recommending that we fund unnecessary surveys and ,I suspect , sharing privileged information to prospective buyers. In my opinion they were unprofessional, dishonest, bad communicators and the only agent I have ever known to charge for photographs and their own failures!

Unhelpful, rude staff member with no sensitivity and a stick up her bottom. Not a shred of customer service skills and a terrible attitude. She needs to check how she is talks to people. Specially after you rent from them when you complain sth that wrong they never fixed that problem on time they might fixed after 6 months, this minimum. The house moulded and cracked wall specially the toilet. I complain millions times but they not want to solve the problem now going to year. As well as I told them to change house key because I am not feel safe with the key that I have but they told me to change all the key by my own money. I don’t what kind of landlord is it? Specially I am not recommended Micheal Poole Middlesbrough for foreign people because they think we not know anything thing how things are going and law!
