Professional and honest

When I first started dealing with Nick I was a little confused!! Here was an agent treating me with respect, telling me the truth and was thoroughly trust worthy. How can this be the case I thought, well it is, and if you are lucky enough to rent your property through Nick you will find him to be honest and know that anything he says is the truth and will have your best interests at heart. Shame I have bought outside the area now as would definitely deal with Nick again given the chance. A really nice guy too.

I rented and sold a flat through Martyn Gerrard. Their service is well known in North London for a reason. Agents aren't normally that popular but Susan gives the profession a good name. Professional service, reasonable rates and no BS. I can't stand the ways Agents bully you or try and force your hand...you won't find this with Susan or MG. if you want good and honest service look no further!

Knowledgable and speedy

When I was looking at flats 18 months ago, the estate agent I spoke to was knowledgable, allowed me to view a number of properties and gave me the space to make my own decision on which flat to rent without pressurising me into a decision. Martin Gerrard is also my Letting Management company. They are very friendly and are always quick to respond to any issues in the flat if and when they arise.

I have very bad experience while dealing with them. They will charge you penalty fees if you leave property early even if there is brekage clause in contract. Very rude while talking on the phone and will talk to you in upper pitch if you try to ask them kindly.Please check letting contracts throughly and avoid them if you can. Do not deal with them.

Professional agent achieving best returns for our sale

My agents, Jamie and Tom, where brilliant! Professional at all times and had good knowledge of how to achieve the best sale price on our 2 bed flat. Our sale was very difficult but this was down to our buyers experiencing problems with their surveyors/bank/solicitors. However, given these problems Jamie and Tom were actively striving to obtain exchange as quickly as possible. In hindsight, I dont think another agent would have put the effort Martyn gerrard have. I am glad to have used this estate agent and would recommend them to friends and family.

Superb Service - really happy with Susan & team

I have recently used Martyn Gerrard to facilitate the sale of my flat in Barnet. I have to say that I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism of Susan and the entire team at the Barnet office. Susan's valuation of the property compared to the two other agents invited was far more accurate, showing her knowledge of the area to be exceptional as I achieved near asking price. Feedback on viewings was always forthcoming, I was kept updated constantly and upon agreement of sale Susan continued to be empathetic and helpful throughout, making what is traditionally a very stressful time far more comfortable than it could have been, I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Martyn Gerrard Barnet as the estate agent to use.

Demitris Ogbogu is excellent

I asked Demitris to find a tenant for our property in Kentish town. It's a beautiful 2 bed flat, though slightly quirky as the second bedroom is more of a study - hence finding a tenant and making sure they understand precisely what it is takes more work and thought than normal. Demitris was excellent - he worked tirelessly and effectively throughout the whole process, giving us good local insights such as advising us about other flats coming on to the market, where and for what price so we could adjust ours accordingly.
