We are really pleased with our experience with Billy Thomas (Martyn Gerrard, Southgate branch). As first-time buyers (and coming from a different country) buying a house in London seemed very overwhelming. But Billy has made everything extremely easy! We made an offer for a flat at the end on January and not much more that a month later we have exchanged contracts with the seller. Throughout all the buying process he has been very professional, patient and responsive, and has made everything run smoothly. He also recommended us a very good solicitor (Paul Yiannakas, YVA solicitors) and mortgage advisor (Emily Jackson, Mortgage Advice Bureau). They have been a great, coordinated, and efficient team. Overall viewings weren’t just about numbers with Joe and they handpicked the right people to view and arrangements for them were made easy. I approached 4 estate agents in the local area for appraisals. Three of them were brash, pushy or barely interested. Only Ross of Martyn Gerrard listened to me and gave candid and honest advice. Found us our dream family home!

Joe first showed me around a property which I knew I didn't like from the moment I arrived. He asked me why and what I was looking for exactly - I am often asked this and the usual answer is "you won't find it". Joe however immediately knew what to show me and told me that he had the perfect property for me, we booked the viewing for that weekend so that my husband could see it. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the viewing but my husband took a video and the second I saw it I knew it was our future home! I've just completed on a property through Martyn Gerrard. I liaised with Ross White and Lukas Macris. I'd like to thank them both very much for their close involvement during the whole process. They kept me very much up to date each step of the way, happily answered all of my queries and made the whole process practically pain free for me. Throughout the process, my calls were always returned and responses to my queries were very promptly answered after speaking with the seller/seller's solicitor. An unexpectedly good experience!

It sounds like I'm being paid to say this but I really have been very impressed with how the Southgate office has managed my sale. There were a few buyer hiccups (in other words, not the agents or my fault) but I was kept constantly in touch with events as they happened. I never had to chase Ross or Lucas for information - they were on the ball the whole time - chasing solicitors, the buyer, me! I have dealt with property sales before and this was an unexpectedly good experience. I got my asking price, the agency fee was reasonable - I've got no complaints at all. Thank you very much.

Very attentive service, professional, friendly and helpful.

Ross and his team were very helpful in selling my mother's house when she had to go into a care home. They were understanding of the sensitive and difficult nature of the situation for me and my sister. They looked after us very well and did their best to minimise the stress with excellent and frequent communication. Ross's valuation was spot on and we received several offers, three at the asking price. There was an issue when the buyer's status was not checked quite thoroughly enough, but Ross and Lukas soon sorted it out. Selling a property is never a pleasant process but Ross and his team made it as painless as possible.
