Initially, Susie and then Ella were extremely helpful and understood our situation and in a very friendly way started the search for us. Once we settled on a place Lucy simply couldn't have been more helpful guiding us through the process, including the often baffling online requirements. Huge thanks to Lucy and Susie and Ella. GoogleVery disappointing experience overall. My wife and I have rented privately for a number of years and have dealt with a good few estate/lettings agents in our time and I can honestly say that we have never had to deal with a company so indifferent to the needs and rights of their customers and who show not only a lack of regard but a lack of respect towards the very customers that keep them in business. We ended our six year tenancy of a property marketed by Leaders to move into our new home recently and I get the distinct impression that by doing so we were putting them to great inconvenience and this is why the customer service had completely dropped off as a result. As prospective new tenants with money to spend we were initially offered good levels of service but once you decide to move on you are dropped like a hot rock with little to no regard. We were stopped monies from our deposit due to some "cleaning" being required which I wholeheartedly oppose as the condition that we left the property in was cleaner and better maintained than when we initially moved in. Unfortunately with these guys you have not a leg to stand on and simply have to take whatever balance of YOUR deposit money they deign to allow you to have back unless you wish to take the matter further with the people from the deposit scheme which could take who knows how long ? Leaders have left us with a very negative impression of their company and practices and the abiding feeling that they are completely biased toward landlords and hold little to no regard for tenants whatsoever. My advice to anyone looking to rent a property marketed by Leaders is simply Don't. There is no shortage of estate or lettings agents out there so do some homework , read some reviews before giving away your hard earned money as you could well face an uphill struggle getting any of it back.

GoogleToni and Lisa are just wonderful. I have been with Leaders, Bromley for several years, until I moved recently. I have never felt as safe and respected as a tenant, as I did with Toni Hartwell dealing with any request professionally, effectively and quickly from the office and Lisa Payne being a friendly, reassuring face doing the bi-annual flat checks.
