We have used Leaders for the last couple of years and I’ve been so impressed with the service, which has been top quality. The Lettings team In Bromley are absolutely brilliant, nothing is too much for them. Toni is a total star, she is professional, efficient and so quick in responding to queries and questions. She also made the move to a different property painless and we really appreciated her kind and reassuring words. Lisa in the Lettings team is great, she did multiple property checks at our property. She’s was always on time, communicated well with us in advance and always gave us helpful advice. I am sorry to be writing this, as I loved my time living in Surbiton, but I must say that the renting experience with Leaders Surbiton was THE worst estate agent experience I have had in my 7 years of renting in the UK. From the beginning to the end. At the beginning of our tenancy the Lettings team made it unnecessarily stressful when not advising us correctly about the methods of putting our deposit down. Luckily it was resolved, but as I said, just an added stress on top of moving to a new house. I was renting out a 2 bed flat with my friend and we were joint tenants on the tenancy. During the tenancy, the property management team repeatedly omitted me from important email communication regarding the house repairs and maintenance, even after I pointed that out at least three times. My housemate and I made sure we copy each other in every email correspondence and the inability of the property management team and Jean Watson to do the same is simply alarming. I would suggest they take some training in how to use the “reply all” function in emails. When we moved out of the place after almost two years, there were some issues with the check-out report. We replied to the check-out report on the same day, disproving almost all the claims providing pictures of the flat and snap shots of the check-in report. We did not receive a reply. After two weeks we sent another email asking for an update on the matter as well as requesting our deposit back. According to the TDS, the tenant should receive their deposit back within 10 days of the request. However, we did not receive our deposit back nor did we hear from Leaders. This led us to use the dispute service with the TDS. Only then Leaders finally got back to us via the dispute. Overall, renting through Leaders Surbiton was a traumatic experience and I sincerely hope that I will never come across such an unprofessional, incompetent and dishonest estate agent again.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Unfortunately when we got to the admin side of things we were let down, our contract was issued less than 1 working day before we were supposed to move in and as it was incorrect we had to move into our property without a signed agreement which was quite stressful, our first invoice was also issued incorrectly meaning we were unable to pay our deposit ahead of moving in. Again Riccardo was great at communicating with us throughout the whole thing and helped to push the process along, but we were disappointed that everything was left until the last minute, issued with errors and caused us unnecessary stress.NegativeQuality
