GoogleAs my first time stepping onto the property ladder, this experience was smooth and swift. Within two weeks, we paid our holding deposit for our flat. Samara and Siobhan conducted our viewings at three properties. A special shout out to Samara who maintained fast communication between my partner and I. We were very eager customers and Samara managed our expectations with clarity and professionalism. Also a shout out to Siobhan who showed discretion, allowing us to attend a viewing that were late to view. The property ended up being a serious contender. Samara took over and helped us reach our new home! Thank you Leaders for helping us find our first new home!

GoogleThere is a laundry list of issues I have with Leaders. Having issues with the house, broken toilets and boilers is just part of it- we are constantly asking for these things to be fixed, and somehow Leader's either never gets the ball rolling or it takes months and dozens of emails for them to get around to it (Renters, be aware, this will be applied to integral maintenance of the house and it's structural upkeep) But if it were just that, I wouldn't write this review. Today, Leaders pushes themselves into a different zone of terrible service. We are changing over contracts with new roommates. Leaders was given a list of new roommates more then twenty days before the new contract was supposed to start. We had agreed with Leaders that the contract would begin a bit later than scheduled, on the first of October, which would split the rent payment in half. I paid them, but Leaders demanded the full payment so they could have two extra weeks to sort the referencing- which in total would be 5 weeks they had to settle the new contract. This delay was their own fault: they had only started the referencing twelve days after I had given them the names of the roommates, only after I asked them via email what was happening with it. During the process, the agents we were dealing with were constantly going on leave, so in this month I had to speak to three different agents about the issue. Leaders wanted payment on the old contract between October 1st-15th, but had agreed already to have the new contract start on October 1st, which means people were scheduled to move in without a contract or payment because of Leader's own delay. I outlined how ridiculous the situation was in emails to both Leaders and my landlord, and they agreed that they would try to push the contract to October first like they had originally said they would. This way we could make our payment (which had to be for six months) when people move in. It is now October 1st, the contract has not been pushed through by the agency, and now a debt collectors is sending me emails about the half a month, saying they are going to take legal action and gain possession of the property if the payment is not made immediately. I called my agent Carol three times in the last couple of days about this. The first day she told me the debt agent is not in communication with the agency, but she would call them to see if my credit is affected and contact me back (she didn't) the second day, she was in a meeting and I was told she would call me back (she didn't), and today she's on a phone call, and I suspect she might never call me back. This is not just Carol issues, she seems sweet but it does not compensate for this situation, I have also worked with Selwyn and Paul- it's definitely the companies issue. I would pay a monthly fee to not have to deal with Leaders, unfortunately my landlord has chosen them and so I have no choice, but please, friendly people of Forest Hill, save yourselves. And Leaders, I will add to this comment with more bad actions, so please, have some credibility and do your job. I do not like writing angry comments about agents on google, I have better things to do with my time. Added amendment: After being pushed into a place where I paid the amount, the agency has now called our guarantors and threatened to jeopardise their credit rating. This payment is past when the contract was supposed to start, under the names of tenants who have moved out of the property.
